Lib Tanks Have Been Deployed to Attack Michele Bachmann (She needs our support!!)
Vanity ^

Posted on 10/18/2008 11:20:48 AM PDT by DrHannibalLecter

From what I'm hearing, lib rats have raised close to $200K since the airing of yesterday's show with Chris RATthews. There's also a site to censure her.

What is this post about? Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann (Minn.) accused Barack Obama Friday of holding “anti-American” sentiments. “I’m very concerned that he may have anti-American views,” Bachmann said on MSNBC’s Hardball. “That’s what the American people are concerned about. “In his book, Barack Obama had pointed to Jeremiah Wright as one of his mentors and also Father Pfleger as one of his mentors. Two of the three mentors are Father Pfleger and Jeremiah Wright. Now, these are very strange, anti-American mentors,” Bachmann continued.

Why are the libs attacking Bachman? Libs got upset and have begun raising money for her opponent Elwyn Tinklenberg and have made this issue/video viral and are trying to get her censured.

Who is Bachman? Incumbent Republican candidate for US Representative from Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District up for reelection this fall.

Why donate to her campaign? Liberal smear machine’s wheels are moving.

Why does she need our help? She is up for reelection.

Why would they ask for a "censure"?

Just another intimidation tactic because someone dared to speak against "The One"?

I don't think people realize how much they are trying to intimidate the regular people from speaking out, or even just not towing the liberal line.

On DU they have two threads going. One is to email Saturday Night Live with their opposition to Sarah Palin appearance tonight. They are asking SNL why Sarah deserves to be on their airwaves. They are saying because she does rallies that she is "inciting the racist, homophobic masses" to take down Obama.

There is another thread that actually encourages a letter writing campaign to Trader Joes grocery stores because one of the members caught an employee of theirs on tape going to a McCain/Palin rally. The employee was wearing his uniform shirt, hence Trader Joes must be endorsing John McCain! They are basically asking TJ's to FIRE an employee because he dared to have differing political views than the poster did. They identified the employee in the letter, and asked "what are you going to do about this employee", and until TJ's "took care of the situation" they would no longer be shopping at the stores.

They have gone off the deep end! and I find it scary. Am I the only one that quite honestly wouldn't feel just a little intimidated to ask Obama a question that they might not agree with, like they have done to Joe the Plumber?

Missouri state officials have already said, on tape, that they would prosecute anyone who lies, or misleads the public about Obama, why wouldn't they go one step further.

I am not a believer in the "Bradley effect", yet I am beginning to wonder how many people are a little hesitant to voice their support of McCain in these environments?

How about we censure the brownshirts of the left? Maybe they haven’t gotten the message, but the purveyors of their ideas in the Congress have a 10% approval rating, at best.

Yeah, most of you are anti-American. You confirm it every day. You don’t care about this country. You care about forcing your ancient, failed views on the rest of this country. Making people slaves to the state is nothing new.

I have worked in Bachmann’s office and as of last week (prior to interview and money pouring into her opponent’s coffers) she was ahead by ten plus points. She has a lot of enemies. I know her campaign appreciates the support!

I think she is awesome and reminds me of Palin. Tell her we appreciate her good work, even though she does not represent mt state.

Did you see on that youtube vid (it’s up there a ton of times) how he badgered her on this and TRIED to get her to say it, pigeonhole her, and she would NOT step in it? Too bad, close enough, they didn’t succeed in getting her to say it, so all they do is they SAY she said it, so apparently she did! (not!)

Yes she is and even many neocons are out to get her because she voted against the government takeover “bailout” bill.

She deserves all the support we can get. She is the last vestige of hope for the Republican party in MN.

Just heard her on Mark Levin’s show...she really does need help. She said they’ve raised $2M to go after her. If you are able to donate anything at all to help her fight to keep her seat, please go to:

http://www.michelebachmann.com

Mark said to keep trying if the site is busy...thanks.
