Right, because they've done so much to deserve it, right George?

Once again, the Islamic world learns a valuable lesson -- terrorism pays.

How did you get that picture of me reading this thread? Of course I’m not using a laptop, there aren’t file folders on my desk, and I don’t have window blinds like that. Otherwise it’s pretty accurate.

Ahmenijad’s “cold” was the most recent and telling clue that a breakthrough was coming.

It’s beyond incredible, isn’t it? If someone had told me right after 9/11/01 that the next U.S. President would be a socialist named Barack Hussein Obama who had a Muslim upbringing and who has terrorist and black national connections up the wazoo I’d have thought they were ready for the rubber room. But alas, it’s close to happening.

"Bush has been turned."

>>>U.S. sources said the purpose of the diplomatic effort is to better communicate American messages to the Iranian people, which are largely hostile to the U.S. They said that it does not signal a conciliatory approach to the Iranian regime or any change of policy vis-à-vis the contentious issues that are on the table, namely Iran's nuclear program.<<<

Or, perhaps they know the hearts & minds of the Iranian people versus the hearts and minds of I'm-a-nutjob and the Ayatollahs, Imams, mullahs...who the people want rid of. Sort of a way to work against them from within?

Then again, Bush may be planning on trashing the U.S. on the way out as Clinton did...only in a different way...Who knows?

Let's pretend for a moment the Bush Administration knows what it is doing, I know it's a stretch, but let's play along.

Maybe, just maybe, they know the Iranian regime is about to collapse and Bush is planning ahead to help the transition from an Ayatollah run theocracy to a secularist government.

Restoring the diplomatic relations with Iran would be a smart move to strategically place people in Iran to help support the new government stop any other Islamic fundamental terror groups from attempting to take power

Just a thought

This just gives the mullahs more comfort. Very unclear and inconsistant Bush policy. He's being dictated to, or is tired of standing resolute. It's obvious.
