Why would Sarah need one? She speaks as an intelligent, qualified VP candidate - unlike the other team of losers on the “other” ticket.
She doesn’t and I’ve seen her many times without one. I was just talking to myself...

I really hope to see the scowling faces, and the red eyes from crying the next day all over the MSM, including "fair and balanced" FOX. It will be even worse than the downtrodden looks from 2004.

FWIW, she had one in Tampa today. It doesn’t take away from the speech though and after a while you don’t ‘see’ it from the audience..
She has a wonderful assistant who helps her throught the crowd ... she grabs signs from deep in the crowd and gets them to Sarah to sign.
She did great! Bringing down the hammer a little harder today!
Sorry I got here late, but I heard her closing remarks, and having fun watching everyone begging for autographs!
The Secret Service guys look a little more nervous than they did in Fort Wayne last night. Don’t think they care for those rather large posters being held up for autographs.
It’s fascinating to see how well she handles the rope line. She really connects to people.

My sister and several freepers were at this rally and I can’t wait to hear how it went. She said she had to walk half a mile to get in but it was worth it. All the people were fired up and I loved the “Joe the Plumber” signs. Maybe we need to make some signs with Barbara West on them too!

How many showed up in Tampa today? anyone have a count?
I have noticed that. She seems to really enjoy just saying Hi and doing what she can do ... noticed she was handed a baby which she took and hugged! It is just a natural goodness in her towards people.
The doors in Tampa opened at 9:00 AM, and thousands waited patiently in line to be screened. I thought the turnout was amazing as almost the entire Tampa Bay area had been up till at least 2:00 AM for the Rays’ World Series game.
Sarah mentioned that the press is acting like it is over to discourage McCain/Palin turnout. There still are very plausible scenarios for victory, so everybody get fired up and do something positive for the campaign. If everybody works, victory will be ours. Sarah sure put out a lot of great energy.
