Please note that in a county-by-county red/blue map even the blue states are geographically mostly red.

Take California for instance. It is dominated politically by the massive populations of the Bay Area and the LA area - both politically blue - and that is enough to make the entire state appear blue.

We Red States will be happy to re-conquer any territories that wage physical violence on our people. I believe we will have most of the Nuclear Weaponry, including NORAD. Good luck defending without the Alaskan based Missile Defense Shield.

Good luck paying off the federal deficit, after all it is located in Washington DC, plus the unbalanced budgets of your states.
