The video is fine, but it need to be a Digg link. Go search on www.digg.com and see if it’s there already. If not, set up a quick account and then post the link there yourself. Then come back and give us the title and Digg link so FReepers can Digg it to the top. (the Digg link can be found by righ clicking on the Digg icon over at Digg....simply copy and past the Digg link over here along with the title...that will take FReepers directly to the link you wan Digged).

Digg can be useful, but good luck getting anything anti-Obama or pro-conservative on the front page. They have the liberal bury brigade there that doesn't allow that stuff. Reading some of the comments on articles at the site 90% are against McCain.
To: GodGunsGuts
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
Could you explain the whole Digg thing more clearly, please?
I’ve seen it on ATS but I’m not at all familiar with it. I suspect others are in the same boat.

You gave me a Youtube link. You need to give me a Digg link. If it’s not already on Digg, put it on Digg yourself. Then go to the Digg icon on the left, right click on it, copy the Digg link address, and then paste it along with its title (so we know what it is) on this thread. Does that make sense???

From the discriptions so far I wont have anything to do with it. Sounds as bad as wickapedia, facebook, or anything similar.
This is why conservatives won the "web war" in 2004 and lost it in 2008. People get their news in all different ways now, and we just ceded them to the libs because we didn't want to get our eyes dirty.

"Reading some of the comments on articles at the site 90% are against McCain"
That simply reflects the 90%+ of the media stories that are anti-McCain. We already know that part. The point is to F@ck with them and bring stories to the surface that they want to keep suppressed.

I havent found an article yet Id like to bump to the top.
Bingo.... I think that is the objective whereby to post some articles that can be Freeped [DIGGED] to the top thus getting out the info that you/conservatives want out.

IMNSHO...
The time could be much better spent improving FR and adding modern features and controls like httdig search internally, being able to add and delete topics, setting certain users to ignore, hot buttons, real graphics, you know, all the goodies other boards have had for 5-10 years now.
I'm sure that out of 50,000 freepers, there are enough programmers and http experts, that an “extreme makeover FR edition” could be done in less than a freepathon quarter (and for free too!)

I signed up on digg and am starting to get the hang of it.
Why not just make all FR threads diggable?

People go to Digg for content that other members post. Somewhat similar to what happens here. You Digg a story which means you give it a plug which also increases the chances for visibility.

Reading some of the comments on articles at the site 90% are against McCain. That's exactly the point. It's like that because conservatives stay in their enclaves and talk to each other, while libs find ways to get their message out to the masses.
To: Quix
First, go over to www.digg.com, search for any conservative article or video re: ObamaNation. Then go to the Digg icon on the left (it will say X number of Diggs), right click on it, copy the address, and paste it along with its title in this thread. This will allow me to click on your link, which will take me straight to your link, at which time I can click the same “Digg” button, which pushes it to the top. Try it now and see what happens.

Excellent. I’ve noticed that the Huffers are hitting digg or buzz hard.

Yes, what you just said should also be done as well. Freepers are capable of engaging multiple targets, are they not?

Submitted to Digg: Barack Obama's Career Path Toward an American Presidency Thanks, but it didn't come up in a Digg search. Can you give me the Digg Web address for it?
