Good omens from Nevada

On the first day of early voting, 62 percent of Clark County voters were Democrats, while 23 percent were Republicans and the rest nonpartisans or members of minor parties. Through Sunday, 55 percent of early voters were Democrats, 29 percent Republicans.

Ok, now pay close attention, the early voting gives Democrats a 26 point edge in in votes cast.

Exit polling of early voters conducted by a local political consultant suggests a close presidential contest in the Silver State: Democratic nominee Barack Obama had the votes of 50 percent who had voted, while Republican nominee John McCain had 48 percent of the early vote.

Whoa! That is a heck of a lot of PUMAs.

My mother has a close friend in the upper ranks of local politics. The word is they don’t like the big zero.

Clark County is where I am voting and is the only county that Kerry won in 2004. Kerry won 51.7 to 46.8.

We’ll get a better picture by Friday or Saturday. When dem voters finally get it into their head that their leadership and media have been lying to them—and the Marxist Onada will not win—they will resort to even more violence.

Methinks the lines will be quite long come election day. I know I am getting up early to get a place in line.

” there seems to be a growing tide of dems who are not liking the “O”... “

Obama’s biggest supporters, the media, should be very afraid of the monster they created. How can they look at what the Obama people did to the anchor woman down in Florida and not be concerned? If they don’t like what you say they’ll try to shut you down. That should scare everyone!

All of my data suggests that Hispanics in the SW are as terrified of Obama as white voters. They simply don't want to become an underclass in need of handouts.

Hispanics have an extraordinarily high work ethic and they tend to move very quickly in to the middle and upper class. They have been part of the American dream for 300 years.

Home ownership, savings, strong traditional family, strong religious vales, etc. None of these traits suggest Obama has anything to offer. So, I don't believe Hispanics will support a black-centric president. They were stronger for Kerry because Kerry was a “traditional” Democrat and was non-threatening to their race and culture. Obama is going to lose this election

The DNA exit poll surveyed that race, the 3rd Congressional District, and found Titus leading in the early voting. She had 51 percent of the vote while Porter had 46 percent through Friday, based on 3,095 responses.

Huge. According to most polls, Nevada is in play and is a "must win" for McCain.

Given the very interesting early voting numbers in CA. (Dems only have a 1,000 ballot advantage and that this NOT considering the PUMA effect), this is troubling to Hussien.

No wonder the MSM and Hussein camp are nervous today. If the race is over (what they have been echoing for the past several weeks) why are they relentessly trashing McCain / Palin?

Why is Hussein doing this 1/2 hour long infomercial tonight if it is well in the bag???

Something does not ad up, FReepers

Get out and VOTE!

Maybe some of the PUMAs will decide they like Sarah better than Hillary after all.

This might explain why the Clintonistas haven't aggressively undermined Obama in this general election campaign.

Maybe they know they don't have to.

Well then this election looks to be a lot like 2004. But the bad news is if we lose 1 or 2 close battleground states....that is all Obama needs.

And with the cheaters in Acorn there to help...the margins for us need to be much greater than they were in 2004 (like in Ohio).

My sister-in-law and her husband live in Las Vegas, both are registered Democrats and are voting for McCain, and my mother-in-law is a dyed in the wool loooong time Democrat and I suspect she is going to vote McCain, although it pains her to admit it.

Also in 2000 the democrats had a 4% higher turnout than the Republicans.
