My beloved aunt lives in a nursing home not far from my home. Her brain is very sharp, but she has a debilitating back injury that confines her mostly to a wheelchair. There is a black Jamaican aide there who administers the lunch time meds - mostly pain pills for my aunt. She told my aunt that she needed to early vote for Obama, and she, the aide, would bring in paper ballots so that my aunt and others could vote for him. My aunt has all her brains and she told her off - and this is the worker that administers part of her meds.
I blew up when my aunt told me this, and demanded to file a formal complaint with the nursing home. They took action, and though they didn't fire the aide, they shut her up good.
I took my aunt yesterday down to the local early voting site, and they were so kind. The place was loaded with early voters, but because my aunt was in a wheelchair they brought her to the front of the voting line and she voted straight Republican.
My question is if other nursing homes are having this problem?

That is done all the time out in California.
The Rats prey on nursing home patients, locked psych residential places, homes for Adults with downs syndrome and probably places for Alzheimer’s patients.
In the old days, these patients/residents were rounded up in vans and mini buses and brought to the polling places. In the mid term election after GW was elected, I parked my OJ Simpson Bronco close to a couple of polling places and parked my butt on the hood with my camera.
I had two of the mini buses pull away away without unloading any patients when the drivers saw me with my camera pointed at the bus and them.
At the second place, I had a cop come up and say I was harassing the voters and I had to move back 150’ from the door of the polling place. I said that I wasn’t campaigning and there were no stickers on my vehicle. After some staring down, I said I would move 150’ away and still use my telephoto lens. The cop smiled and said that would be okay, and he informed the mini bus driver, that I was legal and staying with my camera and a long range lens. The van then left, after the cop left. All I did was to sot on the hood, and focused the camera on the bus and him. As the bus pulled away, I got a lot of catcalls and fingers from what were probable illegals. When I acted like I was taking pictures of them, they would drop down and out of sight of the window.
