I know McCain will win....Doesnt matter if he is a Citizen of the U.S. in Obama’s heart he is a citizen of the world...discribes him fully....not committed to anything but himself!

What is a Princeton grad doing? She must be way too “intimidating” by that I mean she has a big chip on her shoulder “speaks her mind” a la Michelle....

It may be that her crushing obsession with race is holding her back from applying her mind and energy! Black leaders exploit this obsessive nature to continue their empowerment, even encouraging the slaughter of alive unborn black children to keep women and men on the ‘plantation’.

If this is true, and he's elected, Hillary and Bill Clinton will inherit the potus by default.

Huh? Biden would become President. And if for some reason he couldn't sue, San Fran Nan, Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, would become President.

Of course, Hillary and Bill would own the democrat party, but we'd still have to live out the rest of the term with Biden or Pelosi.

I almost feel sorry for her, too, because she does sound like a sincere and well-meaning woman. One thing that struck me, though, was her frustration that the younger black people today, including her own son, don’t “get” it; they don’t understand the oppression that she felt growing up. They haven’t experienced the struggles of their parents’ generation.

Um, that’s a good thing, isn’t it???

American Blacks worship like rightwing, gap-toothed, snake-handling hillbillies.

I don't know a thing about black culture. It's a closely guarded secret. You have to live it, apparently.

Black culture appears amoral to me, however. Just a guess.

I tell em I feel no guilt. My people were fighting commies....they discriminate against me by assuming I come from a long line of slaveowners....and they are dead wrong...my people left Russia after the GD commies fought the White Russians.........so the blacks and their grievances can go tell it somewhere else! There dad wasn’t in a concentration camp as a boy so they can just shut up

She feels a twinge of annoyance at the campaign letting young people run things. "Some of them could use some home training," she said. "I think many of them don't realize the slights. You can only blame their parents for that."

Young people have 10 times the energy as she does. They work 15 hour days volunteering for Obama. They don't expect a lot of finery or compensation. This isn't a conspiracy against old people.

This isn’t sad. It’s manipulative.

I read the whole article, expecting to see a downtroden true-believer who genuinely got dealt a bad hand in life and was falsely lead to buy into the hope/hype. But no. This is a Princeton-educated woman who views life through race-colored lenses all to push an agenda, and more likely than not, to garner attention for herself as a “Joe the Plumber” type personality.

And as an aside, it sounds like her boyfriend is secretly voting for McCain.

This is the most MANIPULATIVE and PHONY thing I’ve read all day.

The truly sad thing is that had McCain been born ‘black’ she would gladly follow him to the end of the world and back.

Well I did find something she said that I agree with (speaking of some of the younger people she works with “”Some of them could use some home training,” I thought I was about the only one left who still used that expression.

The majority have bought in to the welfare state, and they are only interested in what government will do for them. Look what happened after Katrina. Pro-life conservative black candidates want to get the black population off of welfare, and many do not want any part of it.

I'm sorry, but welfare doesn't explain it. There could be Black politicians and community leaders who are pro-welfare but still pro-traditional morality. And considering how much the Democrat party depends on the Black vote, this actually gives them a certain amount of power in deciding what the Democrat and liberal agenda should be. Unfortunately, most Black politicians and community leaders refuse to use this power and instead are enthusiastic backers of decadent and immoral movements (abortion, euthenasia, "gay rights"). They could separate welfare from these movements but not only choose not to, but continue to champion the yoking of economic and moral liberalism together.

I'm afraid many Black preachers are going to have a lot to answer for some day.

Are you sure that they actually know what they're voting for?

I know folks who really can't identify the principles of the guy they intend to vote for. They're quite adamant that he's the right guy, though. This phenomenon isn't new, either. I see two elements supporting it:

1) Historical family voting patterns. "My daddy was a (dRat|Pubbie) and my granddad was before him ... so I'm voting (dRat|Pubbie).

2) MSM do everything they can to obscure the candidates' principles and the history of those principles. Instead, MSM cast the election as a personality contest combined with a "trick-or-treat" mentality. Voters are then enticed to support the designated nice-guy-who-will-give-them-goodies. This phenomenon plays out in the primaries, as well as the general election.

I’d be saddened for the woman in the article, but know she’d likely hate me for it. So, once again, I’m dragging out something that has made the rounds... for centuries.

They don’t know what they are voting for and they don’t care. He is “one of them” and that is all they need to know. I hate Howard Stern but I did hear his broadcast about going to Harlem and asking people on the street about Obama. Worse than sad. pathetic.

Prey upon people by convincing them they're needed for the “cause” and use them until they burn out after there's nothing left to themselves.

And after people burn out, they'll need the "cause" to help them.
