What's up with Fox News? Somethings amiss. They are going soft!

Posted on 11/02/2008 9:04:12 PM PST by rfmad

Starting about 3 weeks ago it seems Fox has started moving ever so slightly to the left. I don't know if they are afraid of the Fairness Doctrine or what but, other than Hannity, they all seemed resigned to Obama winning. Even Britt Hume's crowd has gone soft. I'm mad as hell about it! Anyone else notice this?

I was ill after Dreyfuss, and then Maher just put me to sleep. It was a nauseating show. Dreyfuss went on and on and on and on and on...about nothing, he is still having close encounters I think, a real space cadet there.

Not really.

When the MSM becomes Pravda to the Obamunist, it will be Fox News that people will turn to for the real news. They will also make millions telling the truth. It is a counter voice to the pack journalism, and will be. Any attempt to shut them down makes them stronger. The First Amendment is a sacred right and the left will trample on it but many will defend it as well.

This election season is too damn long and I want it over. McCain can pull this out because all these polls could be just Barbara Steisand. I trust nothing from the MSM, not a word out of their lying mouths, so I think this election is up for grabs.

But there is change in the air. I am not surprised if Obama wins nor am I surprised if McCain wins. I would be surprised if either scores a landslide.

Greta has morphed right and I think some of that is attributable to Anderson Cooper, her sworn enemy. I would love to see the both of them in a real live cage match where they could scratch each others’ eyes out.

Wait for the Obama nuclear fallout after Nov 4, the MSM will call it “a light drizzle”. Bury your tuna fish in the basement.

I’ve noticed it. Neil Cavuto pissed me off today with his “devil’s advocate” nonsense and ultra-wealthy, 0bamunist supporters.

The rich folk today are obviously covering their butts with the socialists — they know what’s coming. Guess whose heads are on the chopping block with socialist leadership?

Watching Neil, however, you might be left wondering if the eccentric fat-cat weirdo’s were on to something.

But, in general, yes, I have noticed it. They’re all career animals anyway. They care a lot more about how they look come November 5th than about the country or who leads it.

You can’t expect anything special from the MSM. It’s all a soulless corporate script and career mongers or it’s propaganda for the left.

America is dying and these people are buy-and-large attention/career whores — don’t expect anyone to risk much nowadays.

Hannity is the ONLY one on the network that is a consistent fighter, and even he is spinning his wheels considering the rest of the Republican Party “making nice” with the socialist bloodletters.

“I just can’t stand watching Fox anymore, it is just to darn depressing. Even Carl Rove seems to have jumped the shark. I strickly read Free Republic and listen to talk radio to get my news.”

Ditto that, same here. I don’t know who Fox thinks their audience is. The Conservatives made Fox what they are and when they are gone Fox’s ratings will go in the toilet.

“4- FNC needs access to future Obama administration officials to compete with the other media.”

They are so obviously kissing up to Obama and the Dems now, and the joke’s going to be on them, as they won’t get future access to the Obama Admin regardless of what they do now. Obama will try to kill off Fox News. Appeasers never get anywhere with the enemy.

Fox n Friends in the early mornings sounds as if it’s written by FReepers. Kelly has been kicking major Democrat spokeshole butt recently. The morning other than that is great.

Folks, we may not like it, but any credible news program is going to have to given the other side some air time, and some positive play.

I don’t want them lofting wet kisses to us every momment of the day. It’s not really worth watching if they are going to lie to us. Obama is looking good in the polls. Yes, they are going to mention it.

I can take it. You can too.

We’re not going to like everything, and we shouldn’t. Big deal.

We get more than our share on FoxNews. Over the weekend Hanity and Gretta presented two hours of non-stop programming from the Conservative side of the isle.

For crying out loud folks. Get a grip.

The kids call Colmes “the creepy butler” because of his resemblance to any creeper butler that answers the door on the classic Scooby Doo cartoons. Years ago when our oldest was probably 7 or 8, he asked us, “Why does that man have one of his eyebrows way up in his forehead?” LOL!

I quit watching FNC a long time ago. They work too hard to be “fair and balanced.” Some of their reporters were just too stupid and I got tired of listening to them. I want news from a right point of view.

Megyn Kelly - Fox’s gorgeous (and brilliant) wolverine.

And surprisingly, Greta is doing some great reporting and commentating.

I am very disappointed in Brit Hume lately. Besides his lean to the left, which is the reason for my disappointment, he can hardly read through a paragraph without goofing three or four words. I suspect that might be a factor in his decision to semi-retire.

Unfortunately, his replacement, Bret Baier, leans much farther to the left. It would be cool if they put Megyn in there instead. WOW! Talk about a ratings boost.

Brit has two faces and these days he can't seem to find one of them. I got turned off by him election night 2004, drooling over a JFKerry landslide. Only Barone on that channel was actually reading the results, the rest were in never never land.

Greta’s husband is a big time PUMA. Her coverage has been excellent, good interviews, good stories, and straight down the middle. I enjoy her more and more. Brit has been a horrible disappointment and I sent him an email after the third debate and told him it was his time to retire (regretably). Barone talking about polls on F&F this morning and he says the polls are really on Obama’s side and Barone says that of course it all depends on turnout. I hope the silent majority comes out in force tomorrow. My long time undecided democrat neighbor made up his mind this weekend and put out TWO McCain/Palin signs in his yard. YAY!

People who think Fox is so darn conservative reminds me of liberals who call McCain a “right winger.”

Excellent analogy.

Barone is brilliant with polls, the best in the business, but this year the polls are so skewed (as a result of counting millions of largely fraudulent new registrations as if they would be real voters) that his analysis is just plain wrong.

When all the votes are counted, IMO, the Dims and Republicans will be within two percent of each other, not the 7 to 12 percent Dim advantage that is reflected in many of the polls.

Thanks for giving me those other sites, I hadn’t accessed them, other than The Fourth Rail and Townhall, appreciate that.

Getting news from these sources really puts one ahead of the curve. TV could really be an outstand resource but it has always been the playground of libtards and Left wing ideologues.
