More And More The States Go Toss-Up (last minute surge to McCain!)
Strata-sphere ^ | November 3rd, 2008 | AJStrata

At RCP the state polls are definitely showing a last minute surge to McCain. The country is going gray as more and more states head to the toss-up category - too close to call. Some folks just don’t want to admit this is happening, but it is and in some surprising states. But I count 10 states with 128 EC votes in the toss-up category, and another 8 states in the ‘lean’ category just waiting to tip into the ‘toss up’ group. That is a total of 18 states and 172 EC votes on the cusp right now. Who really knows which way these will go?

Mrs. Tom H and I are hoping too but it’s waaay too late. The socialism and anti-coal stuff should’ve come out after the convention. McCain’s campaign, win or lose, has been a failure.

Of course, a win will only reinforce that he is better than a cat with nine lives. [Remember, his campaign was a flop in the primaries, also.] A win will validate that the people, not the media and the elites, reign supreme in America.

Please, God. Please. Please make John McCain the next POTUS.

In the decades that I have been a voter, I have never felt as nervous about the future of our country as I do right NOW. I had to listen to neighbors yesterday go on and on about Obama. It was all I could do to keep my mouth shut and stay civil. These people have absolutely NO idea what the hell they are talking about - they literally think that they are going to get their mortgages written down, free healthcare, cheap groceries - and these are well-educated individuals. I had to keep my jaw from hitting the floor. Of course NONE of them own their own businesses, all of them rely on the risk and investment of OTHER PEOPLE for their financial success. It made me so sick to my stomach listening to their delusions of grandeur I almost vomited, I kid you not.

The one thing that I know - the one thing that I will do if the ZERO is elected: the layoffs will start, and the healthcare is GONE. The benefits are GONE. The flex time is GONE. Feel free to leave because I will replace you with lower-paid, part time or 1099 workers. I will rule with the same iron fist that I see coming my way from Washington.

LIBERALS JUST DON'T GET IT!

well snap out of it sister! McCain will win. The majority of American’s see Obama for the marxist, liberal, white hating, jew hating, America hating socialist that he is.

and the polls are all VERY skewed.

I don’t care if they riot. Let them burn down their own houses. We have sufficient police forces to handle common criminals.

Haha, that would be great, but unfortunately, I don’t think there is ANY chance of that happening. CA is simply too liberal now.

No, not a troll. Just very depressed.

why be depressed now? wait until you know for sure that McCain has not won... you defeatists really irk me... your attitude does nothing to get the conservative base out to vote... if we lose this election by a mere 1-2 percentage points, it'll be because of namby-pamby, depressed defeatists such as yourself... go away until Wednesday if you can't handle the heat...

Missouri has a gift for picking presidents

There is a county in west central Indiana - Vigo County - that has voted for the eventual winner in every Presidential election except 2 since 1892. Indiana is on Eastern time, so this may be our first look at a bellwether. Hillary won the Indiana primary with 50.5%. She won Vigo County with 59%. There are a lot of those bitter clingers on in the area...

Good point. No more posts from me until after the Election.

If McCain wins Pennsylvania, I believe that he will easily win the election. However, if he loses Pennsylvania, it will be up to Colorado and a long night.

I think that everything is coming out at the right time. The “undecideds”, and many voters in general, do not pay much attention to the races until the last minute. A surge in revelations about Obama now will be noticed by far more people than had they been released a few months ago. Right now, there are numerous fires breaking out that threaten to destroy Obama’s run, and there is not enough time for him to put them out. The best part is that Obama and Biden started it all with Joe the Plumber and the “Obama will be tested” comment.

LOL. Time to recalibrate the polls to reflect reality just in time for the election. Manipulation time is almost over...

You have no way of knowing that.
Electorally McCain can win. There are paths and the numbers are very doable.
But if you want to put your trust in the MSM instead, and always believe and do what they want you to, that is your choice.
