bump and praying
With the notorious oversampling of Democrats, these polls mean McCain is AHEAD not two points down.
In the final hours of voting?
looks like CNN is getting ready for a face saving measure. They are getting themselves ready to do the “too close to call” bit tonight, you can see it plain as day.
“final hours of voting” ??? it just started three hours ago......
Voting and praying in a deep blue state.
Re: CNN trying to save face?
Short answer: Yes.
Even with the sampling flaws in this poll it shows at least some movement toward McCain. I don’t think most of the polls are catching “The Surge” that will carry him to victory in most of the red states and perhaps even a couple of blue ones.

For anyone following/observing Pennsylvania results, thanks.
It looks like it. The only one of those states that could possibly not go to the republican is Nevada, but I still think he has a good chance there also.
The Florida Panhandle (Northwest) is in the Central Time Zone and they are, for that reason, are the last to be counted.
The Panhandle is very strongly conservative and pro-military....so BO will need a much bigger lead than that.
There are many thousands of people who never voted for Bush, but will vote for McCain.
In close elections, this margin could amount to 2%-4% of the popular vote and easily could swing the election to McCain.
To paraphrase Mother Theresa, "we are not expected to win, but we are expected to fight."
Obama definitely has the upper hand when you look at the overall electoral map, and his supporters appear to be far more energized and enthusiastic than their counterparts in the McCain camp.
I say BS. The college sophomores are still hung over from last night. What say you?
When I voted today the BO poll watcher told me “don’t forget blue”. I quickly informed her that she’s not supposed to try and influence. I reported her. Felt good.
TAB
The real poll is about to come. I did what I swore I would never do again and voted straight Republican. Win or lose, I’m glad this campaign is over, and I hope it is the beginning of a new, revitalized, energized, conservative revolution.
Nah. Just trying to squeeze out as much market share as possible today. CNN is so transparently over the top for Obama. Only MSNBC surpasses them in obvious Obamessiah infatuation and ingratiation.
OK. McCain is going to win NC, GA and Mo. All we need is 100 more elctoral votes. Let’s all email Drudge.
Pollster Barone said on the Radio that Republicans typically ignore exit pollsters while Dems do not.
