ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says she remains confident as she prepares to vote in the presidential election.
The Alaska governor stopped at a coffee shop in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, on her way to vote Tuesday morning.
She held up a newspaper that showed a headline reading, "Board exonerates Palin." That headline heralds the news that a state board has found no ethical violations by Palin in what has been known as the "Troopergate" scandal.
Palin held out the newspaper for TV cameras and remarked, "Nice headline."

I love Sarah, but I have to say I thought she spoke too long to reporters. They tried to throw her a couple curveballs.
Imho, she needs to learn to cut the press off at the knees when appropriate.

Is Palin campaigning today? Will she be with McCain tonight awaiting the results?

I disagree, she did fine and she doesn’t run and hide from them. They would have loved to paint her as inaccessible.

Sarah always looks cool. She has a certain glamour about her no matter what she wears.
I did notice the jacket - very sporty. What’s a Carhart jacket?

I watched the presser that Sarah had after voting. It was absolutely great! She was pumped up and excited about voting in her home town for a ticket where she is the VP candidate of the USA. I pray for her and McCain's success today!
It was still dark and a chilly 18 deg.

Loved her whole, Casual, western Colorado look. She was awesome.

I did notice the jacket - very sporty. Whats a Carhart jacket? It's de facto high fashion in Alaska. It's a warm, durable line of clothing, meant for hard work and play outdoors. Here in Michigan, it's what a mom gives to her son when he gets his first construction job!

GO SARAH! You ROCK! I love how our candidates went out and VOTED EARLY this morning. This is an EXCELLENT example for all voters.
Can you imagine how tired the candidates are right now? They are amazing!
