Most of us voting today will be in lines where conversations may begin. There can be common sense talk about the issues that we know we're right about: taxes, freedom of speech, sanctity of marriage and - to me, the most important issue - abortion. And, I've been struck by this thought: Whatever the free people around the world think of America, they know that it is American they count on as the defender of freedom. I believe that Obama's history and worldview suggest that he would be clueless, and he would probably see moral equivalence, if Russia invades Poland; China invades Taiwan; North Korea invades South Korea, etc. One clue was when Russia invaded Ossetia a couple months ago, and HE ACTED AS IF IT WAS THE FAULT OF BOTH SIDES, until he saw that stance hurt him politically, and that he better join the real pro, McCain, in his take on the situation.
Poland ain’t no Georgia. The Russians will get their ass kicked by the Poles.
The Russian Army is only a shadow of what it once was.
Obama will say ‘stop that’... Then he’ll return to his conversations with William Ayers on how to modify America’s Educational system.
Russia wont invade Poland because they dont want to start World War III.
Ukraine and Georgia on the other hand, or other non-NATO members, are at risk.
The territorial integrity of every nation under the US defensive umbrella would be at risk if obama wins. Russia is just getting warmed up IMO.
Obama would call France, and order plenty of white flags to wave and hand them out at the United Nations. The American flag on the capital building would be replaced with a white flag -— probably would be anyway.
Obama won’t say Stop that, he’ll just say, “It’s morally right for them to do so. The USSR should be brought back because it represents HOPE for the Russian people.” And then he’ll go back to discussing educational indoctrination with Billy Ahole Ayers.
I sure wish the world would stop poking a finger in the eye of the Russian bear.
The Russians don’t want any trouble so please stop provoking them.
I voted today for John McCain.
And then on to France? You think they would ask for our help ......again?
Under BO Poland is toast. Don’t believe the crap about the Russian army being old and on it’s last leg; they have been modernizing and upgrading for a while now. Never, never, never underestimate your enemy and make no mistake that they are still an enemy.
we have given Poland quite a bit of guns/ammo/etc. They wouldn’t be a pushover.
The USA would ultimately have to defend Poland. End of story.
I’m not worried, 0bama will stop them.
The White House phone will ring at 3 o’clock in the morning and Obama will answer. Vladimir Putin will be on the other end and say one word, “Chernyi”. That won’t be a Chris Matthew’s “tingle” running down Barack’s leg.
Would that be like the way we defended Poland and Eastern Europe from the Russians after WWII?
Easy, a chorus of "Bush's fault!"
Jack Black flies to Poland to join his cousins in defense of the homeland! The only question is will United Airlines accept an FN-FAL and 1000 rounds of .308 as checked baggage and what will customs in whatever country I land in say.
Poland is on their own if Obama wins. He will not take any international action that requires the tiniest bit of risk.
The Poles will fight like devils. Devils fighting for a righteous cause. In Poland, 90% of the population has recent personal experience of exactly what Russian domination means. The Russians might wear them down eventually if they are willing to loose 100,000 men to gain a country that can never be held without spilling oceans of blood and cash for as long as they are there.
The USA would ultimately have to defend Poland. End of story.
Would that be like the way we defended Poland and Eastern Europe from the Russians after WWII?
The USA didn’t exactly defend Poland before WWII
The Russians dont want any trouble so please stop provoking them.
I voted today for John McCain.
Well, that's certainly an interesting world view for a "McCain/Palin supporter!"
Where'd you pick that up - Dr. Seuss?
CA....
he isn’t president yet so lets not assume Russia will attack just yet. But your right the threat of loosing allies and all out war goes WAY up if obama is president.
