I just talked to one of my best Team McCain sources who told me that heading into today all the key battleground polls were moving hard and fast in their direction. The source, hardly a perma-optimist, thinks it will be a long night, but that McCain is going to win. So add this with the new Battleground poll (Obama +1.9 only) and the rising stock market...

I will literally SOB if we win today. And then I will celebrate.

No time for that. McCain's victory is just one hurtle passed, not and "all clear," signal. Moveon, ACORN, etc. need to be exposed and permanently linked to the Democratic party before they Bushify McCain. A McCain win will only be a short reprieve. Time to go on the offense and push back the growing socialistic tendencies in DC. The last thing we need is a reversion to the Bob Michael era.

By the time this ends tonight I will have gained five pounds in nervous eating..........I started off this morning with a griled cheese sandwich & soup at 5 am, a few cookies at 8, I did have a reheated Lean Cuisine for lunch LOL) and now a large plate of nachos & salsa - a lot of food in one day for someone who weighs 100 lbs.

How many calories in a glass of wine? I think 100 or so.. so maybe after the sun goes down a bit more.

“Gun and Bible Clinger types, and Joe the Plumber types, won’t be none too happy hearing that the Black Panthers are barricading polls in Philly...”

Doesn’t matter in Philly. How many whites live there anymore?

Biden is really really dumb. And I mean that with all respect.

He works very hard at it. How else to explain a near perfect record of being on the wrong side of every foreign policy issue in the last 30 years. And this passes as being the Democrat foreign policy expert!

Yeah . . . here too. However I entertained myself (since my wait was 3 times that of other voting years) by trying to read those exiting the voting booth. The smug I figured were Obama supporters. The proud Americans . . . McCain/Palin supporters. ;-)

“If Obama takes PA and OH he can win. If he doesn’t take them both, it will be next to impossible for him.”

—wrong - he can win without taking PA but must win OH and FL. Of course he will have to win NV, CO and (fill in the blank)

Encouraging. It’ll be interesting to see how Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Virginia go early. If Obama wins all four, its over. If McCain wins all four ... it might be over.

What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!??!?!?!!? If McCain wins PA, OH, FL and VA you can go to bed. Same thing if the Obamessiah wins all four (which will NOT occur).

Rush is very confident about PA for Mac...however, Rush says to ignore the Drive-Bys when they try to call the election for Barry by 2 p.m.

I’m in CA and voted for McCain this morning to counteract an 0bamazombie vote. I know our guy can’t win the state, but every vote counts in the “popular vote” argument that’s sure to arise.

Anyone considering staying home today, please change your mind and go vote for McCain/Palin to send a message.

The reliable analysts know this. For example, if a GOP candidate takes PA, he is going to take OH, because OH polls 5 points higher for a Pub candidate than PA

Thank you for your analysis. I don't mean to pick at it, rather I think you'll agree with me that this is a time for Pennsylvania where an alignment of gravitational forces are making their vote much more similar to Ohio's than five points.

Plus I think that would signal that the Upper Midwest is in play.

It most assuredly is in play. McCain/Palin haven't been campaigning up there for nothing.

Anecdote after anecdote all over the country points to MASSIVE turnout in GOP areas.

With a possible record high turnout it may take a lot longer to get the eastern states counted tonight.

I’m not a licensed architect but I do have a BS degree in Architecture from a private school in Michigan.

To give you an example, one of our studio projects that we had to design was a monument to the Kent State massacre. As an outspoken conservative I can assure you it was four years of hell. That was in 1992-1996 or so I can only imagine what its like now.

Another observation: Despite the constant talk about racism there were only 2-3 black students in the program at the time.

Im debating whether its a good night for a bender, since ive already voted and Im home for the rest of the day.

Absolutely. It will either be a night of elation and joy or total despondency. Booze goes well with either of those emotions.

Also don’t be fooled if they call Pennsylvania early for Obama. The MSM expects it based on the bogus polls.
