I think the conservative areas come in late. I mean, the pan handle is an hour behind.
Just a question. How do they count the ballots? Is it smaller rural areas that are reported first or more city areas? Or does that have anything to do with who is counted and reported first?
Don’t freak out about FL unless Rep counties are going Dem. It would be nice if someone could post some stats on that.
Bush won Florida over Gore by about 500 votes. The Panhandle polls don’t close until 8:00 p.m. EST.
Yes, Gary is on Central time, I believe. Indiana now 51-48 McCain leading.

The People’s Republic of Northern VA usually reports in last. Probably due to the traffic. Fairfax county is gridlock 24/7.

Yep. The western part of the Panhandle is on Central time, and the polls close there at 7 local (8 Eastern). The big controversy in 2000 was that at least one of the networks called Florida for Gore BEFORE 8 Eastern, which meant they called it the polls in the reddest part of the state were still open. Who knows how many votes that might’ve cost GWB.

Less than expected for O. Unfortunately too small a piece of NOVA to mean anything.
The panhandle results would have been much higher for Bush if the MSM were not announcing falsely that the polls were closed. There would have been no chaos in Florida. MSM caused the mess.

but I have it on good authority that you are watching the results from Broward County.
If Obama gets +220k out of Broward..it is gonna come down to .5% either way.
if you see the results begin to close SOOON..and the 150k lead gets cut into...then McCain won Florida by 4 to 5 points.
