Blitzer already sounding somber due to non-Obama blowouts on first few state polls that have closed.

There goes my 49 state theory. Hoping Obama would take only Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. Still, this is ‘dog bites man’.

Ok, here we go. There aren’t enough polls closed in either of those two states to call anything yet. Why are they calling them so soon? They should wait at least another hour, perhaps 2.

If McCain holds onto Virginia and Indiana you will begin to see the first stages of a media meltdown unlike anything we have seen before.

Not really. Those 2 states weren’t in play at all. Totally foregone conclusions.

I'm concerned about Indiana. It is unexpectedly close after around 10% of results coming in.

Yes...they reported them as soon as the seconds left counted down to zero.

Vermont had 0% reporting, but somehow Kentucky had 8% reporting or something like it, I think.

With 1% reporting, McCain has the lead in Virginia...but that's 1% reporting, and who knows where it's from.

Not according to MSNBC, it has Obama up in Indiana by 106082 to 102648. It’s gone back and forth several times already. This could be a nail biter.
