America was Conned

//***********************

FreedomMarch.org is a new nonprofit political activist group dedicated to the effective action needed to protect America from the disturbing trends indicated by the last election. Several hundred volunteers have already joined, (100+ in the last four hours) and we attracted national media to negative Obama issues twice during October. Our goals are as follows:

FreedomMarch.org will sponsor or participate in many activities including:*

1. Expose Obama, and preclude him from taking office.
2. Demonstrations - virtual online and onsite
3. Telephone, email, and fax campaigns.
4. Public awareness activities
5. Communication and civic education
6. Legal actions

7. Influence the electoral college.

We plan a peaceful nationwide demonstration on Jan 17, 2009 to communicate to Obama, (provided that he is not disqualified) and Congress, that millions of Americans are monitoring them closely, and that they must respect our wishes.

*FreedomMarch is in its infancy. Join Here. See the Volunteers page for Today's Action.

A new high-end website is in development. Volunteers are needed for the following duties:

We’ve got several hundred people in our ranks already.

Maybe that's why Obama won the election?

You can help by not discouraging others.

You are getting some good, constructive advice from a lot of long-standing freepers here. Maybe you could quit yelling at them long enough to absorb at least some of what they are saying.

"The very first thing that needs to be “reformed” is the primary system that gave un John McCain. I don’t see that on your list."

Excellent point and exactly the kind of thing that we can do to positively affect the future. This kind of nutcase Obama Derangement Syndrome (we must throw him out of office) is going to do the country about as much good as 8 years of Bush Derangement Syndrome has done.

He’d have won it by a lot more were not for us, wiseguy. I am saddened by the level of cynicism on FR. I think that’s more the reason the country is in the current state.

We’re taking strong action - not talking or hoping. We’re doing something to constructively impact the situation. More people should do so and not attempt to torpedo others who do.

I don’t understand. Are they facts or allegations? And “shocking” is pretty vague. I’d be shocked to find out that Obama is addicted to midget porn. But I don’t see how that would preclude him from taking office. I’ve checked out your website. I don’t see how you are going to get very many people to sign up for an organization whose purpose is to expose something that will supposedly prevent him from assuming office, but you don’t specify what it is. It just seems weird.

Obama may have eligibility issues. He held citizenship in Indonesia, and it needed to be formally renounced by a specific date. They’re legal technicalities but could have some bite. It’s unknown still and a long shot, but it still needs to be disclosed. The guy can’t get a security clearance and he’s going to be POTUS?

The unknowns for the guy are enormous, and he is quite scary in the position.

That is indeed a legal technicality, just as McCain’s birth in Panama would be. I doubt many people would get worked up about either issue. I have never heard of the Indonesia citizenship thing before, but if it’s true, it does seem remotely plausible as a disqualifier. I can see other aspects of Obama that many people would find upsetting, but I can’t think of any that would preclude him from taking office based on any constitutional grounds. I think if the Indonesian citizenship thing is what you’re going on here, you should make that clear somewhere prominent on your website. People like to know what it is they are specifically signing onto when they join an organization.

LOL. I have to throw it on the pile of all the things we need to do...That site is temporary, and I dislike it. It’s limited and very hard to use, but its the best we could do in a matter of hours. We had to “make do” under combat conditions so-to-speak. We’re working on a spiffy one, but they take and effort. Many people don’t know how much time goes into a high-end site.

I don’t know how much an issue BO’s Indonesian citizenship could be, but we need to look under every rock. That’s not our group directly, but we may support it or at least report on it.

You better tighten your tinfoil cap, because on the morning of November 6, 2008, Barack Obama will begin receiving the same national security briefings that President Bush hears. That sounds like he HAS all of the security clearance he needs.

There are many allegations floating around. I don’t know if any will stick, but I do know, with certainty, that the MSM failed to vet the guy.

LOL
Like this guy's gonna give a rip!

The depth of your enthusiasm and support is truly stunning. My tinfoil hat as long rusted through. He no longer needs a security clearance as president-elect. That does not change the fact that he is unable to qualify for a low-level job at the FBI.

Taking no action is better than my tin-foil-hatter condition? I think not.

Now you know the flaw in our system. By virtue of his popularity with the unlettered masses, he is the POTUS designate, and as such does not have to undergo a background check. Nor does someone like Patrick Leahy who thought information heard at meeting of the Senate Intelligence committee made good cocktail party entertainment proving to his friends just how important he was. People died in that case, and many will in this one. The framers of the Constitution did not think a security clearance was necessary, and in their day it wasn’t, because they were men of honor. Some how, if we survive, we need to make a clearance a requirement for seeking public office. Obama would have been eliminated immediately based on his questionable associations.

Well, if I discount the drama queen quality of your statement, that might be an extremely productive allocation of time. I don't think any public office would or should require a security clearance, but if there indeed is no standard for the POTUS, there should be. Do you have a citation on the no security clearance required for a president rule?

After almost 24 hours, I'm not seeing the flaw in the system as much as I might be seeing the flaw in your argument. You've made statements and I have asked you a reasonable question. But, let me repeat, in case you accidentally overlooked my first inquiry: Where is it written that the president-elect has to meet no minimum security clearance requirements? He hasn't been sworn in or taken an oath at this point in time.

It is just mind boggling to imagine that an individual would be given the most top secrets of the entire World without some sort of clearance. We are not just talking U.S. secrets here, we are talking about intelligence gathered by countries all over the World. Not to mention having a finger on nuclear war.

RaginApache, please feel free to chime in here because you have made the same statements. You can't possibly base your campaign on an allegations that you are unable to prove with simple links.

Thank you very much.

The flaw in your argument is that you are “presuming” someone must in charge of this.

I haven’t yet found the statute that requires it. Regardless of what safeguards may be in place, Obama’s on-record statements should be enough to send chills down the spine of anyone with sense enough to listen and comprehend them.

The electoral college is the last line of assurance. Pray that they know what they are doing. From my recent experience with campaigns and the RNC, they are no smarter than any of the rest of us.
