How many of the protesters are married? How many were in legally recognized domestic partnerships before the court ruling for same-sex marriage?
In Mass. where homosexual marriage has been allowed for over four years, less than 20% of “committed” gays in committed relationships are married. It seems that the gay community wants the right to be married to the same sex partners, but don’t actually want to live their lives in big numbers as married people.
No one but the voters can change laws now.
