Amendment 15
1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

HOW ABOUT REQUIRING THAT VOTERS POSSESS AT LEAST THE SAME BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORY AND THE FOUNDING PRINCIPLES OF THE UNITED STATES THAT IS REQUIRED OF IMMIGRANTS WISHING TO BECOME CITIZENS?

AND HOW ABOUT REQUIRING THAT ELIGIBLE VOTERS HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE CANDIDATES AND ISSUES ON THE BALLOT?

Fat chance, right??

PS: I’d LIKE to take this further – MUCH further – but this place is already too far gone to even get the two listed above.

So they don’t hire people, own homes, pay property taxes, or have children.

Great.

Let’s see how their Messiah saves ‘em.

This is failure of modern US culture. Where parents cannot/will not talk to their kids, inform them and shape their views. The void is filled by pop culture, media and public (socialist/communist) education. The result is majority of this youth.

Title: Revolution

Artist: The Beatles

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We’d all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We’re doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah

ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...

You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right

I’m 27, but I’ve read enough about what liberals did to this country in the 70s to know what we’re in store for. None of these people remember Jimmy Carter, but they just elected him to a second term.

I would bet that in a majority of cases, there is an indulgent parent still supporting their Art History or Women’s Studies major with monthly checks.

It’s easy to believe in the Sugar Plum Fairy or Obama when you have a Sugar Daddy paying your rent. There are some things that could be cured by another Great Depression.

“His young supporters” are the product of a public education system that the Left has co-opted and turned into a taxpayer-funded propaganda machine for Socialsm, multi-culturalism, global warming BS and anti-Americanism. They are ignorant of their own history and emote rather than think. They belive that slogans are ideas. Most are complete strangers to critical thinking. They have been set up for disappointment and frustration.

I have to say, I never realized how much this meant to blacks. I mean... I'm a female and I feel as though sexism is much deeper and more long-standing than racism. After all, it exists even in homogenous cultures. Black men got the vote before white women did. But if we had a female president... well... if she were a Democrat, it just wouldn't mean that much to me. If she were a Republican, I'd be pretty pleased, but I can't imagine crying tears of joy and feeling as though finally, finally... I don't even know.

I think if I ever hear again, "It's a black thing, you wouldn't understand," I'd have to agree. I don't get it. But I just never realized before how much I REALLY don't get it.

Want a dirty little secret? Not many of those celebrators voted, from what I’ve seen so far. The jump in younger voters seems to be a lot less than what the media is touting. (Of course, this is because they only exit poll in cities and college towns.)

Like I said on another thread-if symbolism was all they’re after-I wish we elected Gary Coleman-at least he’d be entertaining for four years.

I’ve spent time (not by choice)among people like Obama as well as the Obama-roids. There’s always a lot of big talk and hootin’ and hollerin’- Loud boasts. Pie in the sky.

Then comes the time to actually do the work.

Then comes the bad performance or non-performance.
Then comes the excuses.
Then comes the anger and accusations.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Yawn. Wake me in four years.

" As Scottish Philosopher Alexander Tytler is credited with observing: A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

With this election bought and paid for by outside influences, and the complicit msm, and with the damage pelosi, reid and bho will do in the next 2-4 years with rigging election laws we may have seen the last Republican President G W Bush in our life times.

It ain't none of this shiite.....the tipping point has been reached....52% of our "fellow Americans" are not willing to work, and want those who do to take care of them.......

America cannot last much longer as a free country....

"one man, one vote" has done internally what direct assaults by nazi-ism, communism and radical islam could not do...

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

AUTHOR: Alexander Fraser Tytler (1747–1813)...

Adios America, I have loved you.....

Those 18 to 32 year olds are starving for someone to lead them/love them/show them value. There is a void in their lives that has been caused by the do what feels good, no absolutes in life culture they have been raised in. All I saw was spiritually starving people cheering and shouting for this man who speaks of hope. There is only one thing that will fill that void - the hope of Christ. It isn’t Bobby Jindal/Sarah Palin/Newt. All people I admire and suppor. It is Christ. The fields are ripe for harvest. The church has to step up one life at a time. This isn’t a political battle. It is a spiritual one.

Yes, the youngsters, the people who know everything, elected UHHbama, with plenty of help from unmarried women and minorities. The ONLY age group that went Republican was the oldest, and wisest.

All of Obama's happy-talk will meet cold hard economic and geopolitical reality in a short time.

Now is the time for the Republicans to state clearly why Obama's strategies are doomed to fail - offer commonsense alternatives - and NOW is the time to start trying to peel off the Dems' black supporters who are possessed of common sense.

There will be serious disappointments with Obama's policies among the black community when reality sets in, and the Republicans have a coming opportunity to recast their own image and dent the Dems most loyal support group by appealing directly to blacks in the next few years. It will be prime time to illustrate that bad policy in black skin does not equate to economic advancement for black people, use it as a teaching lesson, and recruit blacks to the Republican party. Obama's symbolic value will be worn off in 2012, and the Republicans are currently not a complete party if they have no articulate message for both the working and unworking poor, - which it seems at present they don't. Time to sieze a historic opportunity out of the ashes of defeat.
