“Plus the 200,000 bogus votes in Ohio” ...

What’s the source for this claim I keep seeing on FR?

I’ve seen credible reports of 200,000 bogus voter registrations (or attempted registrations) in Ohio. But is there any evidence that such a large number of false registrations were actually permitted to vote?

How would this even be knowable this early? Has Ohio released the rolls of actual voters in this year’s elections?

I’d appreciate a link to such evidence if anyone has it.

Political philosophy and sophistication is not determined by a flick of a switch into full overnight change.

Slamming people who are coming to terms with shattered beliefs, is like pissing on a spark while trying to ignite a flame. It ain't gonna get your fire going and it won't bring more people into the fold.

Now maybe you think that is the right way to do things, but you might want to think about it.

If you look at the FL map Miami and the southern tip of FL went heavily to Obama. McCain lost a huge latin/hispanic vote, 7 of 10 nationwide voting for Obama. the rest of FL went to McCain.

Ten years? Man, time flies when you’re having fun. Well, I’m ten years older, retired, but still preaching and being active in the community, etc. Like you, I have mostly lurked for the past year; since LadyX passed away. That one hit me pretty hard. It’s good to “see” you again.

I’ve seen no evidence that a either a concession or a claim of victory has any legal basis whatsoever.

Each state will certify its votes and appoint its slate of electors in accordance with its election laws. Do any of those laws say anything about a candidate “conceding”?

If so, I would expect them to want a candidate to submit something in writing. A sound bite on TV would hardly seem to be sufficient. If a candidate officially withdrew, or declared himself to be ineligible, I suspect some states have laws that allow alternate electors to be appointed. But I haven’t looked up the particulars for any state.

In practice, every state will count their votes and then do whatever is easy and obvious when they certify. Candidates who don’t like that outcome can challenge in court (as in Floriduh in 2000). If “concede” is taken to mean “I don’t intend to sue you filthy dogs for trying to steal my votes”, then I guess a candidate can retract a “concession” in any state up to that state’s deadline for challenging the official result.

I know everybody loves the Marines, especially since they vote 75% Republican, but don’t forget about that little Army base named Fort Bragg, with 50,000 plus troops who vote 65% Republican. I sent my absentee ballot to NC since I’m stationed in Louisiana and my vote better be counted. There’s no way NC went for obamanation.

I care. If these states can flip with the final tally, then something like a law suit in the state of Ohio should be filed.

But d*amnit!!! We are in charge of the country, we the people. We should fight...At least we should fight to have the overseas and out of state military votes counted.

Exactly! That is what has been bothering me since Wednesday morning!!!

You know there was a ton of voter fraud. It was there in 2004, and ACORN, and the Democrats had 4 more years to perfect it.

Many of you have reported lots of 'out of state' plates on election day, and the week or two before the election, during early voting.

Are you just going to stand by and let this fraud hand your country to a Marxist, without a fight????

Link to NC BOE and I do wonder about all the military ballots still. Obama/Biden only won by slim margin:

Obama/Biden (DEM)

McCain/Palin (REP)

Barr/Root (LIB)
0.59% 25,419

This is the reason why I never really bought into the PUMA hype. Sensible people close ranks behind their party’s nominee in the general election. Liberals/leftists may be marxist lunatics, but they are politically very sensible. Sadly, more politically sensible than a great deal of conservatives are.

Additionally, this could matter in other states as due to voter purging a lot of people had to use provisional ballots, so that plus military votes getting counting may give us a clearer picture of what we are dealing with next election.

One thing I like about the way provisional ballots work in Texas is that they don't count unless there is a recount. Also in case a judge orders a precinct open past the 7 pm. poll closing time, all ballots cast by people not in line by poll closing time are provisional. If a later appellate court order voids the original order, the votes cast by late arrivers can and will be tossed.

The CNN chart is of exit polls, not actual count. In this case I think I’ll take the word of the Indiana SOS.

I think I would rather slap those 1,037,982 voters that voted for Hussein. If you look at the final numbers you will see that Barr did not influence the outcome in any manner.

See post #127, and 89.

They were handing out provisional ballots all over the country!

That's why the turn out was so "Low". They haven't counted the provisional ballots, which many people were forced to vote on!

this is what I am thinking

NC is close very close, those military votes would send NC over to MCcain I bet so if mccAin has some balls left then he can go after those

course it won’t change the election but I am sure the soldiers and marines want their votes to count and I’m sure the republicans want their state to remain red
and it does take a state away from obama

has this been reported to the media and hannity, Rush etc

could this go up on breaking news mods?

IN goes red, maybe NC could too

I doubt there is enough votes left to get FL,VA back but at least it cuts into the obama lead

then Palin shoud sue to get those votes counted in OH

why not she has nothing to lose, all she says is she wants every vote counted and to see if illegal fraud votes were cast
the Dems in 2000 said they wanted all votes counted so do we

I bet there was

NC needs to count all the military votes
IN gone red
OH needs to be counted

yes it doesn’t change the election but it sure does look closer than before
