Call Senator McCain and demand that he defend Sarah Palin!!!
luoamerican.com ^ | November 07, 2008 | Baldilocks, AKA Juliette Akinyi Ochieng, SSgt, USAFR (ret.)

I call on Captain John S. McCain, USN (ret.), Republican, Senior Senator from Arizona, to put a stop to the public smearing of your erstwhile running mate, Governor Sarah L. Palin, Republican from Alaska.

Governor Palin committed herself and her family to your cause, moreover, to the cause of America, provisionally for four years. She did so with gusto--even after the Mainstream Media saw fit to go after not only her, but two of her children--and we, the Republican electorate, were glad for her decision. She nearly saved your candidacy.

But, now that Senator Barack H. Obama has become President-elect Barack H. Obama, the finger-pointing has begun and I would expect such from the average political candidate. However, sir, you are not the average political candidate. You are a retired US Navy officer and, on top of that, a Vietnam POW and a survivor of the horrendous accident on the USS Forrestal. You know what it's like to be looking to your leaders in the worst of times and to have your subordinates look to you at similar points in time. You know about Faith, Loyalty and about Leadership.

Well, sir, it's time for you to Lead again. Stop the dishonorable actions of your subordinates toward another--not just for the governor's sake but for yours--because it is not the governor who your aides are dishonoring; it's you.

Sincerely,

Juliette Akinyi Ochieng, SSgt, USAFR (ret.)
Los Angeles CA

Thanks.

We could probably add several other examples of Obama sophistry. What was that remark that McCain made in the debates?

"He is eloquent. Listen to his words." (After Obama said he would look at offshore drilling.)

For that matter, you have to look very carefully at what McCain said too.

"He's a decent family man that I happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues,"

I believe those words were the beginning of the end.

Sarah is right about drilling. McCain is wrong.

Sarah Palin is right about global warming not being man-made. Sun Spots have a much higher correlation than man-made causes. Sarah Pallin recognizes pollution as a problem. China couldn't even get the skies to clear after shutting down all the factories in the area for months before the Olympics. The whole global warming thing is a way to control the masses. They've even changed the name again, First there was global cooling, then global warming, now climate change.

I watched her go head to head against Biden and she came out way ahead.

She speaks with passion and represents conservatives very well. You sound like an elitist to me. When an elitist disagrees with someone, they always say they are stupid. I don't know how many times I heard it about Ronald Reagan.

This is McCain to a T. Even if he came out and defended Gov. Palin now it would be too late. Just more focus-grouped pandering at this point.

If i were to call McCain I’d tell him he ran an awful campaign and didn’t deserve the nom to begin with.

May he be replaced by a real conservative in his next election.

Your post 53 makes you prefer Tina Fey over Sarah Palin.

McCain was MUCH quicker to defend the Chicago thug’s middle name against mention by members of his own party than he has been to defend the honor of his VP nominee.

It was no a surprise when McCain lost, in our hearts we knew it was Dole Part Deau. Bringing Palin into the race saved McCain the embarrassment of a Mac Govern/Mondale defeat. Obama would have completely mopped the floor with McCain had McCain chose one of the DC inside crowd to run with him.

The Democratic Party presidential nominee for the Republican Party isn’t worth a call. The election is over, McCain is over but I have a very stong feeling Sara Palin is just getting started.

Lets start with first one......I have seen with my own eyes, time after time, McCain holding join interviews, because he can’t trust Sister Sarah to not make a bigger debacle. For years I have been watching elections, these joint interviews are absolutely rare, if they have ever been done. The reason was simple, don’t let her talk first and mess it up. Proof.

the only reason he was with her was because that was the only way he could get TV time. They did not want to talk to him until Sarah came along. DUH!

Try Again.

Well, she is talking just fine in her interview with Greta, she is doing both Larry King and Wolf Blitzer and the Today Show in the morning, and we found out for ourselves, she really can walk and chew gum at the same time. Fact of the matter is the McCain campaign horribly wasted this woman, if he hadn’t run such a clearly chauvinistic campaign and trusted her innate good sense he might have won.

Senator McCain, defend your honor

He has none left to defend.

His ongoing silence proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
