These girls are not going to be raised the way we’d raise our kids or want them raised ... their family and their values are quite different from ours in almost every way. Remember, for starts, their daddy wouldn’t want them punished with a baby if they became pregnant. WE would be grandparents!
But what are the alternatives? The fishbowl that is the White House provides every amenity known to God and man. The staff of thousands is at the residents’ beck and call. It’s too easy to be so spoiled, and yet so alone, especially for a young child who’s been uprooted from everything and everyone she’s known.
We may fault Michelle for a LOT of things, but she does care for her daughters and is trying to provide the most stable environment she can for them as they enter this new phase of their lives. It will not be easy.
Excuse me but just because her daughter got pregnant DOES NOT mean Sarah Palin didn’t take care of her children and do it well!

I’ll agree with you it’s not as bad as being a stripper or a hooker, but conservatives follow standards, you meet these standards you are a good parent, you don’t meet these standards you are a bad parent. And your teenage daughter getting pregnant in high school is clearly a standard not met.
But I guess Conservatives don’t believe in standards anymore. Or maybe standards for everybody else except for Conservatives.

The important thing in this issue is what happens once a teenager becomes pregnant. Neither my sister nor Sarah Palin's daughter had abortions.

Just because your parents are devoted to their 5 children, doesn’t mean they know what they are doing. Loving Parents can be incompetnet. Your parents are incompetent.
My mom worked as a waitress all my life, my sisters didn’t get knocked, I didn’t get some hussy knocked up. My mom (and dad) are better than your parents.
The whole point of properly raising the children is they would be able to make the right decisions when the parents aren’t around. If the kids can’t make the right decisions when the parents aren’t around, then the parents failed.

What a self-righteous person you are. Just because a young woman doesn’t get pregnant or get “a hussy” pregnant doesn’t mean they are without sin. I think you would do well to examine your unforgiving, judgmental, and condemnatory attitude.
