Yes it is hypocritical, but it wouldn’t be a good idea to have the president’s kids in the DC public schools.

Same goes for Health Care in another three years. I sure wouldn’t want to hear about Obama’s kids having to wait months on end for any surgeries - so hopefully there will still be private hospitals somewhere - at least for those deemed fitting of such services.

You do realize that Obama’s children would be surrounded by secret service agents no matter where they went, private or public schools.
