This is a bad tradgedy indeed, but my question is, how come this type of questioning was never given to Barack Obama about his past, present, or future. I would give Ole Larry some credit, but the MSM creditabilty has been tested this election year!
No handover means no peace. Expect to be bombed. Stateless actors? What the hell is that? If they are stateless actors, then the state of Pakistan has no right to try them either, no? IF Pakistan claims that people who did this are stateless actors, and we provide them proof that points to the people who did this, Pakistan has 2 choices:
1) They are stateless actors, so it should have no objections if we went over to “pick them up” ourselves - India I mean. The question of Pakistani soil doesn’t come in to the picture because Pakistan had a responsibility to stop them from planning and training for this attack FROM PAKISTANI SOIL - but they didn’t know or were unable to stop them - so they can look the other way as India goes about doing the cleansing
2) Yes, they are Pakistani, and the state of Pakistan is responsible for Pakistanis and Pakistan’s territories so they are in turn responsible for what Pakistanis do on Pakistani territory and hence responsible for the attack on Mumbai.
So which one is it Asif?
This incident could actually serve to bring greater cooperation/peace between India and Pakistan.
You’re deluding yourself. This incident will more likely bring an end to Pakistan itself as a country.

This was orchestrated by the very people who killed the wife of the Pakistani president.
Impetus is on both sides to cooperate against a common enemy, terrorist Islamism.
Yes, and they haven’t done anything about bringing the assassins for justice because there’s a clear divide between the civilian government on one side and the army, the ISI and the Islamists/terrorists on the other. The government controls nothing in Pakistan - it is but a facade behind which everyone else does what they want.
It will be easier for all concerned if Zardari privately tells Condoleeza Rice that he has no control over Pakistan and can do nothing about it. He should also have no problems if the US and India decide to do the Pakistani government’s job of reigning in the military and the ISI for the Pakistani government.
In other words, the Pakistani government surrenders control of the military and the ISI to the Americans. It is the only option for a “future” Pakistan. If not, and if they continue to take this stance that “we are in charge, and our military are good people who have no hand in these attacks and are completely capable of defending Pakistan” then the argument would be “where were these military and ISI when the attacks were being planned? if they can protect Pakistan from India, are they unable to or unwilling to protect it from the islamist outfits?”
Either the government will surrender its military and the ISI, or the government will take Pakistan and its military and its ISI and all its terrorists and all its civilians down with it.
You do realize that in this climate no lender will be willing to lend Pakistan any money. That in itself will sink Pakistan in a matter of months.
An alternative approach - India and the US announce that any state that is found to be providing any monetary aid or transacting any money with anybody in Pakistan will be blacklisted by them.
It will take less than a month before the country falls apart.
There are dams in India across all major rivers that flow into Pakistan. India can threaten to cut off water supply. Anyway its winter and there usually isn’t enough water in the rivers (snow not melting fast enough). So cutting the flow shouldn’t create too much of a problem for India.

Well -— after the terrorist training camps, madrases, mosques and centers of “responsibility” have been destroyed — someone can claim that a renegaded Christian operated the drones that did all the damage and that America accepted no responsibility for the action..
So long as we allow these sheetheads to conduct their NATIONAL strategy of “TERROR ATTACKS” to cripple the civilized world — they will do so, as they have for at least 7 centuries.....
