I like the shape of the VOLT but it is stupid technology to me

Here is my 'Damnit' scenario when it comes to battery powered cars. You know how much it sucks when you want to use your MP3 or your cell or anything else in your house that runs on batteries AND THERE IS NO MORE CHARGE and you forgot to plug it in? DAMNIT!

At least Americans would have a new excuse for not being able to get to work. "Hey Boss, won't be in. Car battery."

Anything that decreases dependence on Middle Eastern Oil is a plus. That includes the Volt. GM’s already said this technology doesn’t end with the Volt.

I do like the look of the car.

Oil prices are also low to drive the Russians,Iranians et al. to use up their financial reserves because they are not generating the revenue they need for their shananigansfrom oil sales...This wa done ater the spike in prices so they went out to buy lots of expensive things (including weapons), and now they cannot pay for them.

The collapse of Oil prices is the silver lining in the dark cloud of the global financial recession. In fact, China’s factory meltdown has more to do with the oil market than our situation.

I realize that holding Rush to his former high standards may be unsettling to some.

I get the feeling it’s kind of like when those who supported Bush even as he was pushing nationalizing the finance industry in America just couldn’t open their own eyes to the truth.

I’ve been listening to Rush for about 18 years, almost every day

But I just find it very strange that none of the conservative talk shows are addressing the issue of COLB before the USSC.

The auto bailout he is addressing is old news and a great distraction.
