Reviewing his decision to implement the surge, Bush recalled the political pressures on him to retreat: “It was in this room that a prominent member of my political party said, ‘You must remove troops from Iraq because it could cost us elections if you don’t,’” the president said, gesturing around the Oval Office. “And it was in this room I looked at him and said, ‘You must not understand George W. * Killing Zarquawi.
* Liberating Afghanistan.
* While everyone (including whiny week kneed, limpy spined Republicans -including repub voters) said “get out, and give up on iraq. He STOOD FIRM.
* Stood firm on Stem Cell funding.
* Delivered two GREAT scotus judges.
Was he perfect? Course not. But you tell me a prez in history that was ‘perfect’, with no mistakes and I’ll give you a shiny new Nickel, and a hearty pat on the back.
But IF NOT, I’ll give you a pat on the fanny and tell you to go stand in the corner young conservative and don’t come out till you–”GROW UP“
