WASHINGTON It took just hours for some 1,800 WND readers to jump aboard a new campaign to contact members of the Electoral College who are expected to vote Monday on sending Barack Obama to the White House.
Following up a campaign that sent more than 60,000 letters by overnight delivery to the U.S. Supreme Court when a case contesting Obama's eligibility for the Oval Office was pending, WND announced a historic first in its quest to establish Obama's qualifications for office a similar FedEx letter drive directed at individual electors.

Here in plain English is the Kenyan Ambassador saying that Obama is born in Kenya.
............
from obama's own site factcheck.org by way of fightthesmears on his dual citizenship at birth
When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdoms dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.
Sincerely,
The name and address of every participant in the "FedEx the Electoral College" campaign will be displayed for the 538 Electoral College members who receive the letters.
This is a historic opportunity to speak directly to the Electoral College at a critical time in American history.
An exercise in futility I’m afraid.
“I’ll take “What others in the Continental Congress said to John Adams in 1776 about the colonies separating from England” for a thousand, Alex!” ;-)
The American dream is all about those ‘exercises in futility’, my FRiend. Let them try. Who knows what God may have planned for America in the future! :-)
Ill take What others in the Continental Congress said to John Adams in 1776 about the colonies separating from England for a thousand, Alex! ;-)

it took a lot more than a letter drive...
Very good; very, very good. Thanks.
This whole issue is incredibly frustrating as you know. The fact we have to fight as we have to simply get a BC out of BO is borderline insane.
That said, it is still the obligation of any US citizen to demand adherence to the Constitution - regardless of the incompetence of 50 state election boards to do their job.
If it takes $10.95 to send letters to electors, well so what? This is chump change meant to expose a chump.
Giving up is not an option. And I don’t care if Biden/Mcstupid/Pillbox or Hillmonster gets POTUS inasmuch as they would be constitutionally acceptable. BO is NOT until he releases a valid BC. The simplicity of this is obvious to any breathing vertical human.
So pony up the $$$’s people. And if you really want to get personal about it, write and send your own letters to congressmen, electors and judges.
I have so I’m not just blowing smoke.
I’m able to tell my kids that I did all I knew to do to stop this marxist and economic disaster. They can’t do it for themselves so we adults have to step up to the plate.
Well, WND already has $11 from 1800 chumps, that’s almost $20k. By the time it is over they probably will raise a couple hundred thousand for an effort that may cost them $20-30k in expenses.
I would call that a HUGE success...for WND. Anyone ponying up the $11 AND believing it will actually do anything is just plain stoopid.
We could undercut then with a $10 deal and fund FR for years.
So what have YOU done to help?
Did you at least write 9 letters to the Supreme Court at 42 cents per letter?
Or to your congresscritters and Senators?
Bet you have not done anything except discourage others.
“Did you at least write 9 letters to the Supreme Court at 42 cents per letter?”
Yes, SC decisions are frequently swayed by the letters they receive from voters. They are even more impressed with the results of online polls.
Good point.
So the only thing you are doing is sitting on your butt and making sarcastic remarks. And you wonder why nothing changes.
I see. Unless one is engaging in useless efforts designed to line the pockets of WND, they’re doing nothing...
I was talking about writing letters to the Supreme Court Justices at 42 cents each. (I wrote and mailed out my own letters weeks ago.)
That is NOT lining the pockets of the WND. You are not paying attention.
And, I’m well aware that the Supremes won’t actually read every letter they get. But the idea is if they each receive 149,000 letters and faxes (that is what I read), there is NO WAY they can ignore the fact that the public is outraged.
No matter how skeptical you are, you know that this will get their attention. So the goal has been met.
And I will not sit here and do nothing while I have some energy and resources left to make a difference, no matter how small.
Summary: Make it happen, Help it happen, or at least get out of the way (and don’t discourage others.) THANK YOU.
I agree.
Ya got to do what ya can.
I’ve done everything I know how and
I’ll be able to hold my head up knowing
I didn’t just roll over.
Then I’m confused. Your original post was a response to my criticism of WND lining it’s pockets by exploiting sensitive conservative emotion on this issue.
Are you good with what WND is doing?
BTW - Unless you are a constitutional attorney and your letter was a friend of the court brief, it probably ended up in the trash can. Do you honestly think the SC would be swayed in how it decides a case by letters from “concerned citizens”, petitions or online polls?
That can sway politicians because they rely on consituent votes to get elected. SC justices are given that position for life for the very purpose that they not be swayed by transitory popular opinion or gratuitous citizen outrage.
Wonder how many Freepers will email their Secretary of State of their particular state about their Electoral College voting tomorrow with questions about Constitutional qualifications of Mr. Obama? Many here in FL are emailing our Sec. of State:
Dear Secretary ______________,
I have concerns about the Electoral College voting tomorrow when questions are currently pending before the US Supreme court regarding the Constitutional qualifications of Mr. Obama. How can the Electors possibly vote until this issue has been resolved?
I would greatly appreciate a response from you.
Sincerely,
