I think you are right. I don’t know why so many around here think he’s going down and taking anyone with him. In a few days the MSM will stop reporting on it and if anyone tries to bring it up will say “Oh, that’s just an old story the GOP are trying to dredge up. Those evil meanies.” Clinton skated on rape accusations.

If he’s going to fight, then is it reasonable to rejoice that he’s going to sing? Why are people so jubilant? Singing would be possible if he remained coy at this point, but spelling out that he’s denying all wrongdoing doesn’t support the notion that Obama’s in trouble here. Or if you disagree, what am I missing here?
Blago is playing it smart, promising to tell his case in court without hinting what he might say.
Gives him the flexibility to negotiate with all sides and get the best possible deal.

This has already gotten past that point. Too many people are seeing too much. Someone will be sacrificed. Not the most important people, mind you, but someone will be thrown to the wolves. Kind of like the Plame non-scandal. The facts were immaterial: someone had to take the fall and it was Libby.
You all must be smoking something that is extremely potent, drinking something incredibly stout, or just damn good dreamers. Obama is not going to get implicated in this. Everything would have already come out by now. It looks like Rahm Emanuel maybe able to be implicated. Ultimately it’s going to come down to the FBI releasing and degrading the classification level on those tapes.
I believe the Blago lawyer speaking at the news conference was Sam Adams Jr., I also believe he was the lawyer that got R Kelly off and they had a videotape of him with an underaged girl. It’s amusing to listen to talk radio with everyone so upset. The Democrat leaders and their cohorts in the news media knew Blago was corrupt, yet they backed him rather than, God forbid, a Republican winning the governor’s office. I’ve seen better research by people on FR then I’ve seen by the news media here....
