Don’t forget that one can live in WA (no income tax) and shop in OR (no sales tax). Same with WY and MT except there is a lot more driving involved.

Yeah, but that is illegal. But considering that our new leadership on both the national and state levels are corrupt, and criminal. Most of our Congress cheats on their taxes, we have a new ethic. Rob, Cheat and Steal. It is approved by politicians who lead by example.

If you live in NC and make purchases from out-of-state, you’re supposed to report those purchases and pay state sales tax on them.

Right.
