B-b-b-b-ut, I thought we were in the worst Depression since the 1930's!!!!!!!!

I call "bull$hit" on a "Depression". It may be a slowdown, but it's NOT a "depression". A "depression" would have men in coat and tie and wingtip shoes, standing in a mile long line, waiting for the "privilege" of digging ditches for $1 a day.

hell, I'm trying to get my house ready to sell AND I CAN'T GET ANYBODY TO HELP ME FIX IT UP!!! I'm offering double the normal rate to get the fuse box fixed, and do a little landscaping, and everybody I talk to is "too busy".

If we're in a "Depression" then why aren't there men lined up outside my house ready to do everything in their might to do some work for me?

A few more reasons I see we're not in a "depression"

-I still get rude or inattentive service at all fast-food places except Chik-Fil-A.

-I still have my part-time job at a fitness center...and I'm over 50 lbs. overweight.

It's probably just Depression in Blue States like Michigan and New York, where they voted heavily for Obama and are ruled by Labor Thugs and Socialist politicians.

I dont call it a depression, slowdown, or a recession. I am calling it a Mediacession because the MSM want to pin something tragic and awful on George W Bush. They have been talking doom and gloom for so long that fear has set in among the weak and simple minded causing slowdowns in spending. Just imagine where we would be in the booming Bush years if they had been positive about his successes. One additional note if retail sale were as bad as the MSM would ask us to believe every Wal- Mart in America would have open even on Christmas day but instead they all closed early on Christmas eve.

We are starting to see California refugees returning from the Blue States due to lack of jobs and the constant liberal bs to take away any personal freedoms and/or choices in the Blue States.
