his plans were dashed after the inferno he created severely burned his arms and melted his red costume onto his body
Don't you hate when that happens?

The MSM was quick to mention that he was an usher at his church. Had this been a ROP member, there would have been silence.

Pardo retreated to the front door and retrieved a device that mixed carbon dioxide or oxygen with high-octane racing fuel... I think we've found a journalist who was a D student in chemistry.

I can see why his wife left him - and why why he was fired.
He's a self indulgent bully - guess he 'deserves' the respect and love other men earn.
This killing was an ugly temper tantrum.
Too bad he didn't bother to grow up.

Rage. Rage of a nice guy who always gets beat up and gets that final straw on his back, or else paranoid rage of a psycho convinced the world is out to get him. Seen both kinds.

A search of Pardo's own home in Montrose, a suburb northeast of Los Angeles, turned up racing fuel, five empty boxes for high-powered semiautomatic handguns and two high-powered shotguns. Uh... what exactly is a "high powered shotgun"?
I have several shotguns. The power of each one depends on the ammo used.

That he shot an 8 year old who thought she was answering the door for Santa tells me all I need to know about this animal.

This story just gets more and more tragic. You couldn't write a movie script more violent and bizarre.

Anyone who hides the fact that he has a disabled son except to the IRS for a tax write off, has wasted too much time on this planet.
Santa should have killed HIM.

At his home in Montrose, Christmas lights decorated the roof and plastic nutcracker soldiers and striped candy canes were attached to a fence that edged a neatly trimmed lawn. Usher at his Catholic church. Aerospace engineer, friendly outgoing guy who loved his dog, kept a neat yard and even decorated for Christmas. Sounds like a model citizen. I would ask what happened to make him crack, except for the fact that he plotted it all out and planned to escape to Canada. Psychologists will have a field day with this nut.

When I read about this some alarm bells went off... it seems that this guy was robbed by a predatory gold-digger and did not take kindly to it.
They were married for a just a year when the problem came up. It was not a case of “Oh it didn’t work out, let’s go our separate ways”, but rather - “Give me the house bub!” Less than two years after they married the divorce was finalized and he had to pay her off - this after fighting a bitter fight to hold on to his $500,000.00 home.
Why was she trying to use the court system to steal a man’s property after one year of marriage?
I’m not condoning his reaction - shooting little girls is certainly way over the top.
Yet predatory women are routinely allowed to marry and steal property from men, especially in places like California. I had a friend who lost much more after a marriage that lasted two weeks.
This guy had enough.

"Raney said Pardo, 45, fired a shot into the face of an 8-year-old girl who answered the door and at first fired indiscriminately, then apparently targeted relatives of his ex-wife as other guests fled."Lost his job and involved in a "bitter divorce." That certainly explains it for me. He was probably sorry (for himself) as well.

Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, a laid-off aerospace worker, apparently shot some of his nine victims execution-style in a plot to destroy his ex-wife's family after a costly divorce that was finalized last week. He should have gone after the judge and the attorney and not innocents.
