"I want to remind you that New Hampshire and Virginia voted FOR Barack Obama and the Democrats."

My point, exactly. They have already been overrun.

Put your money in metals. ammo and firearms, I imagine it will turn out like the last War of Northern Agression, only sooner. We dont have the cohesion to rebel and Obana’s Brownshirts will crush us like a bug. Store at least a years supply of food and pray for deliverance.

I tell you why his prediction of US break up is unbelievable. It seems like he’s not aware of local sentiment in the area he thinks will break up. California under China influence?! California will more likely go with Mexico than China. Alaska under Russia?! With Palin as Govenor. Not likely

Thank goodness for that. Now that WND has "blessed" the prediction, you have 100% assurance that it won't happen.

I don't have as strong an opinion of WND as you do. Never knew they had to "bless" predictions, for example.

The US does not exist in Revelations, that's a given. Taking from the working red states to give to the free-loading blue states (Wall Street bailout, Detroit bailout, NY state bailout) is what started the Civil War. If you know your history, you'll know this is true.

Maybe you want to take all the kookie pieces and put them in the big picture before you start posting whacko - pointing fingers stuff. It only underscores how close minded even the so-called open-minded can be. Whether you personally like/support/generally agree with the site/author or not.

There's a whole bunch of stuff out there. FR is the place to put the pieces together, as we've done in the past. Don't close doors before we even went through them.

I know a few states that should be kicked out of the union. Let them fend for themselves.

You would stand a far better chance of success that way but still, all states contribute to the whole. Also, even a peaceful breakup would end up in multiple wars. Or we could look at the inevitable weakness of all that would result.

As far as those who would like to secede. They talk about taking states and forming their own countries. What they don't mention are the large built in resistance made up of people in those states who wisely don't want to secede. What do they do with them? Do the "oppressed" become the oppressor?

It doesn't take a lot of thought to recognize the foolishness of such talk.

Second of all, the financial collapse —OF THE ENTIRE GLOBE — was orchestrated, with B0 in the middle of it. You still want to talk WND, who is only a messenger, or expand your view of the big picture?

Actually, you have it backwards — the Blue states regularly support the Red States. New York, of instance, regularly gets back about 75 cents for every dollar it sends to Washington. Alabama gets back about $1.25.

The Tax Foundation has done a detailed study of the distribution of taxes.

The part I liked was the fantasy of the midwest and central US under Canadian control. That would end with our first election as Canadian citizens. I doubt Canada really wants a sudden infusion of 100 million or so Americans.

You’re right, there is nothing good that could come out of any scenario.

I stand my ground a fight for my home.

I will stand my ground and fight for my home as well. But I WILL NOT fight to keep Virginia subservient to an overarching federal government or united to liberal, socialist states like NY or the states of New England or MI, or IL, MN, WI, WA, OR or CA. They can all pretty much go to hell for all I care.

A nation like the US will only break up when it can no longer afford to pay the soldiers to pull triggers - which may be closer than we think.

Personally I would rather see conservatives pull their heads out of their butts and stop voting for stupid crap like name recognition, and charisma.

JAT but what if you took one state and saturated it with conservatives. Once we had the “right” leaders in office and everything constitutional again we add another state until we get our country back. All legal.

Before the door closes, we should remember that much of what was special about this country is now gone. I don’t think Farah’s article is that far-fetched, though it would certainly take time.

As a country we are in a moral and economic pit. It’s hard to see how we extract ourselves given the current state of the education system, border control, and a shredded currency.
