In addition to the Rod Blagojevich pay-for-play probe, Obama could figure in the upcoming fraud trial of Norman Hsu, the disgraced Democratic fundraiser who was charged last year with operating a $60 million pyramid scheme.
Hsu was also laundering money through a Daly City family (Paw), the husband being a mailman and the wife a truant officer.
I think the MSM downplayed the Hsu story at the time because it interfered with the Republican Jack Abramoff "culture of corruption" mantra since the 2006 mid-term elections.

I actually think the media downplayed the Norman Hsu story because he was a bundler listed in the investigation that Fred Thompson headed up back in Chinagate.

It's true that Hsu was a bundler for Hillary. It's also true that Hsu listed the Paw residence as his own residence, too. And it's also true that the Paws donated to the DNC more than their net worth would suggest.
This has all been documented in the news.
After turning himself in on an old conviction, Hsu fled sentencing on that conviction. He was found a week later on an Amtrak train, presumably dehydrated and disoriented. He was taken to a hospital to recover. I lost track of the story after that.

Obama is going to make the Grant and Clinton administrations seem pure and clean by comparison.
All we can hope is that W put enough good guys in all the alphabet agencies to resist this taking over by China.

I think we are seeing why Obama is trying to get his transition team in before he is even ‘officially’ President Elect.
