IIRC, the Southern Baptist Convention nearly passed a resolution calling for their members to remove their children from public schools.
There’s hope for the Republic yet, ‘mongst the ‘bitter clingers’.
;-)
My kids go to a great school where Christmas songs were sung and many teachers are Christians. I do not support such a move.
“the Southern Baptist Convention nearly passed a resolution “
I find the “nearly” part puzzling.
My “family resolution” is that my children will never set foot in one of the pagan academies AKA socialist government schools.
Yet, when push came to shove, not even K-12 sodomite indoctrination was enough to get this resolution passed. IOW, the SBC has gone on record as being cool with sodomy. After all, they don't mind it being taught to their children. Or should I say, they don't mind it enough to stop it, using the surest means at their disposal.
Well, if I were more charitable, perhaps I'd notice that it takes time to change public opinion. Perhaps I should take hope in Ernest Hemingway's description of how one goes bankrupt -- "first, very slowly, then very quickly." Perhaps there is a "tipping point" ahead that will disengage Christians from sacrificing their children to Moloch -- although I have to scratch my head, and wonder -- if K-12 sodomite recruiting isn't offensive enough, then what would be?
