That is *supposed* to be just McCain, but it's also possible, even likely, that one of the Dem (Obama) electors voted for some other Dem, such as Hillary.

No such luck, I just went through all the electoral college certificates, no one voted for anyone but Obama or McCain for President.

That means that should Obama be proved not eligible, the House is supposed to pick McCain for President, should that ineligibility be proved before Thursday the 8th. Wouldn't that be a kick in the head?

One error I noticed right away is that Obama Sr has been given a Phd which he never had! He earned an M.A. but never stayed long enough to earn a Phd. His family in Kenya did call him Dr but he wasn’t! FWIW

I had read that previously and supplied a link to an article at the kansan.com website which was similar. Notice how a date for the marriage of Madelyn and Stanley is given as May 4th/5th, 1940? She remained living at home and didn’t tell her parents about her marriage until after she received her high school diploma in June of 1940.

Why would that be of concern? For example, if someone had a criminal record - I, for one, would have a big problem with that person seeking the Presidency.

Then, while it’s a touchy subject - what if a medical record for a candidate indicated something like schizophrenia or seizure disorder history? I think that citizens have the right to know and cast their vote accordingly.

The privacy issue is only over what primary vital information you do NOT know. [§338-14.3] Verification in lieu of a certified copy. provides for verification of what you think you DO know. e.g.,

Already been proposed, but it's a no go.

From the State of Hawaii department of Health Statistic's site

If you are not able to establish a direct and tangible interest in the record, you are ineligible and will not be issued a certified copy of the record.

Upon request, a letter of verification attesting to the existence of a requested record on file with the Department of Health may be issued. Instructions for applying for letters of verification are included in the next section and immediately follow the set of instructions on applying for certified copies. The same eligibility requirements apply for both ceritified copies and verification letters.

While I have no problem with a requirement to release these items, I think that some potential candidates may not want to release their college transcripts of entire medical records.

I've never gone for the school in Lebanon theory for Stanley Ann. I keep looking at this pic and thinking that the first symbol is not an "N" but actually a Greek letter - maybe Delta or Lambda(?) with a spot of glare at the end.

Having a difficult time fitting the other symbols though.

Just another wild guess. Here's the pic again darkened a bit.

I know what you mean. Kinda like how John Kerry didn’t want his grades from Yale released because of his 3 Ds. Or his complete military records. You know he was in Viet Nam.

Frankly, I think Biden (as Schumer and Dodd) is a Marxist too, but at least he's our Marxist.

Schmart-a$$, you don't have to go to extremes. Just the BC, the valid copy of the complete BC, so we the people know we will be voting for a qualified American. Yes, a candidate should be willing to disclose some other records; if there are items in his medical records or others which really might embarrass him or her unnecessarily, then these could be witheld. No candidate who deliberately conceals all info as 0 has can be trusted--we don't know who the hel* he is at all.

The media whores played the hiding game to the hilt for him, but in 2000 they tried to trash Geo Bush for a drunk driving thing in Maine back in the 70s, their story had weak legs all around & collapsed on them. They built the image of 0bama Superstar who can do no wrong and their problem from now on is to keep it going. It won't work. It too will collapse.

I am not all that sure that it should be the candidate himself that should be able to pick and choose what personal information to release. Instead, there should be a standard template that each candidate should complete. Withholding from certain questions would indicate that the candidate is hold back on some information.
