“A lot of pompous, rock-throwers without sin on this thread...” ~ Josh Painter

Especially the hypocrites who want others to actually believe that many times a day, every single day of their lives they don’t act in contradiction to their stated beliefs or feelings.

Whether Prager is unwed, multiple wed, happy (gay), loves his dog/cat, etc. is totally irrelevant.

If he supports the Constitution and has some input regarding the current situation, please report same. Should he wed a babe, please post pictures of same.

I think that is modern Jewish (as opposed to Biblical) theology.

Typical Prager.

His statement is 261 words.

Of those, 23 are first person singular pronoun (I, me, my).

He agrees with God about not being alone? How nice. How about cleaving? Where is he with God on that one?

I like Dennis a lot. In fact, I think he’s a mensch. But he is vainglorious, pompous, and gushy.

As far as marriage goes, Jews (sensibly, I think) believe that things can go irreparably wrong in a marriage and they therefore allow for divorce.

"I laughed when I saw his book in the thrift store about making marriage last."

I laugh to. He is always talking about it to on his radio show.

I think he is an intellectual but an emotional idiot.

I don’t think you should say that about her as a step mom. Read her bio. She has 2 kids of her own and she is also raising two kids of her sister’s who recently died of cancer. She may be just the step mom a kid should want.

I assume she has a twice-a-day appetite that Dennis (according to his columns) seems to require, and that they have lots of nannies so as not to get interrupted... LOL.

Mazel Tov!!

Paragraph 1: yep. He’s sharp and witty, though not quite as sharp and witty as he thinks.

Paragraph 2: no doubt, but that isn’t Biblical teaching. And doesn’t it seem a bit, mm, self-serving to laud one’s own actions by citing v. 18, when v. 24 leans otherwhither?

I thought the “women need to always be willing” article quite creepy, not necessarily because it’s not a good idea for spouses to keep each other satisfied but the one-sided way it was framed and the tone of it. And I’m saying that as a male.

I was more creeped by those guys who agreed with the one sidedness.

Well... just making an analogy; not intended to relate cancer and marriage.
