Mr. McCain is calling the committee, Country First, and it is likely to help lay the foundation for his 2010 re-election bid.

Who could possibly be the better example - the “face” - of the uselessness of Republicans to the cause of conservatism than McCain? Any stupid or destructive notion that George Bush could push, McCain would have only pushed harder. These politicians all want to “get along” - much like feudal lords “getting along” so as to crush the serfs under their control.
To: AuntB
Let me go out on a limb here. Republicans can support the Republican Party the Democrats can support the Democratic Party ... and in theory ... and being a little generous ... it can be assumed that both parties put the country first.

McCain is an establishment idiot.
He duplicated, as we all said, bob dole’s campaign.
He did not pick a conservative on purpose, he blundered into a conservative when he thought he was just picking a token woman.
McCain is a fool.
We should not suffer fools gladly.

And which country would that be Johnny Boy?
Your staff member drew up a Mexico first policy during your recent campaign. Care to enlighten us?

Once he chose Sara Palin I worked overtime on his campaign here in NH and gave him and the cause 125%. Then he foolishly refused to fight against Obamessiah and then went on to basically tell America that Obamessiah was a decent guy qualified to be president and then after the election was over and he lost because of his own mistakes he threw Sarah under the bus regarding her possible future run for president. As far as I am concerned the guy has used up all of his chits. "Putting Country First"... right, he is going to be lock step with Obamessiah and will be his willing puppet to be manipulated in order to get the Republicans to fall in line with Obamessiah's "New World Order".

Good. He can start by sending-back the $ 175 I sent him so he could run the crappiest presidential campaign of the past 100 years.
To: AuntB
This guy just won’t go away. Why is he NOT itching about all the dirty money in the just past campaign? What nobody will have him on their boob tube leftist programing any more so he is reduced to begging US for dollars?

My inbox had a peddlin’ correspondence from dear John, on this very same PAC.
I replied if only you would have put your veep choice first you would have got something out of this bone dry well!
To: AuntB
Senator, you’ve earned a rest. I suggest you retire at the end of your current term. Lay back, enjoy life, and stop reaching across the aisle!

In an e-mail message to supporters on Wednesday, Mr. McCain described it as a grassroots organization that would take up the challenge of defining our Republican ideals and message and support G.O.P. candidates. I've got something for your grassroots, Juan:
It is quite clear that there are no "Republican ideals or message" anymore. They have become nothing more than a new version of the Whigs, shaking in fear at the future and unwilling to take a solid stance on the issues of the day.
