sounds to me like he is telling Bush up front that he had better make some serious blanket pardons.

He has been hinting for months that he won’t go after anyone. Back in March 2008, he might have made a comment or two...just like this occasion but to start this mess...and turn congress loose to run off in various directions (as you’d expect)...he’ll lose media focus. Imagine the Sunday chat shows...who he’d like to have focused on his programs...and they are discussing the Bush period. He’d end up with democrats in congress asking what the focus is...and not able to explain anything.

Talk about pardons. Right after he is sworn in, the first thing obamahitler is going to do is grant a full pardon to ALL people that could be indicted for crimes against the government including himself. Ya ain’t seen notten yet. That’s just the beginning.

“Sounds to me like he is telling Bush up front that he had better make some serious blanket pardons.”

Amen. If I were President Bush, I would pardon every single person that ever worked in his Admin in the West Wing and/or in political appointments in the Old Exec Office of “any crimes that may have been committed as a function of their official office or duties.”

I would do it on January 19th, after the news cycle. Let it crash the Jan 20th parade.

If he does blanket pardons, he is handing the issue to dems as he will be acknowledging unlawful behavior.

If he does not issue blanket pardons, he will be keeping a great issue alive for conservatives. One that could awaken the masses. Imagine democrat prosecutions for the war on terror while the economy sinks and they spend us into bankruptcy.

And the beautiful thing is that Obama will be powerless to stop the idiots in the House like Waxman and Pelosi from pursuing it. The media salivations will be un-precedented as well. Say what you want, the public at large is not worried about this issue. This is a media-left wing issue.

Oh, you can rest assured that Former President Bush will be indicted. When it will happen and if it will be obama’s department of justice or the u.n. world court I cannot say but one of these will get him.
