For a guy that has a child’s understanding of guns and our Constitution, this doesn’t surprise me.
Let’s lock those guns up, so criminals will be safer.

I support any and all measures Obama thinks of for guns and their control and proper treatment ... after a brief trial period starting with the secret service, and then the military, and then the nation’s police forces. If it’s good enough for those groups, it’s good enough for me. If for some reason it doesn’t work with them, it doesn’t work for me.

Has it EVER occurred to the Obomamites that if you keep kids AWAY from guns and WATCH your own kids there won't be a problem?
What's with these people?
Are they really THAT dumb?

I’ve got a great idea. When t comes to gun locks, let’s demand the Secret Service install them on their guns first, as an example to the public. Perhaps Obama would begin to understand then.

Agree 100%. If it truly works, then any supporter of gun bans should not have a problem telling their SS support to keep their guns at home.
If they can’t, that speaks volumes about the effectiveness of these foolish laws.

Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

Look to this horrible state of Massachusetts for the answer to this question. There are only a small number of handguns we are allowed to purchase here because, in addition to the still-active carryover of the Clinton “assault weapons ban”, there is an additional list of criteria from the Attorney General that dictates all these “safety features” that guns must have, for “consumer protection”.
Many manufacturers don’t even bother with the hassle of trying to get their guns approved for sale here, which I’m sure is the whole point of it all.
You can’t buy new Glocks, Springfields, Kimbers, and many many other perfectly good handguns here.
