The Elg decision states that Miss Elg was in fact a natural born citizen. The decision stops short of saying she was was a "natural born Citizen" per Article 2, regarding presidential eligibility. It does not address this, nor did it intend to, nor did this case refer to that. It simply upholds a lower ruling that she was a citizen and that lower court happened to use that phrase.
