CBNNews.com - CBN News has learned that President Obama will create a President's Council on Faith.
The council will be announced at Thursday's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington tomorrow.
The President has not been shy talking about his faith.
This new council will be made up of religious leaders across the ideaological spectrum.
Their main task will be to provide public policy input on faith related issues ranging from healthcare to poverty. They will meet regularly and discuss their ideas with the President.
The council will be part of an overall faith-based office.
The President is also expected to lay out his vision for that office at the prayer breakfast.
I wonder how much prominence Islam will have in this. Probably lots and lots, I would predict.
This input will be about nationalized health care, increased living standards for welfare recipients, home ownership for single mothers with children, and how to prevent obesity by issuing separate food stamps for fruit and vegetables only.
You’re right. It will be “bootleg” copy of Christianity. It will fool “even the elect”. I don’t know whether to be frightened or excited, but it sure looks very much like John’s prophesies right now.
The power of politics corrupts religious leaders. It has been so since the beginning of time.
I just find it incredible that this so-called man who believes in killing newborns because “mommy” wants them dead would even mention religion . . . it’s disgusting . . . I though partial-birth abortions were barbaric, but to let a newborn die of exposure because Obammy wants the little one dead is something that only a monster would believe in.
Unfortunately, the sheeple will connect this culture-of-death leader with God and His mercy and totally miss the point: Obama believes in infanticide . . . and he also believes in giving that same necessary medical care to illegal aliens that he would deprive a helpless infant of.
