With President Barack Obama stating that his "urban agenda" includes reimposing the former federal ban on "assault weapons" and "large" magazines, it's out-of-date to refer to that law as it was known at the time--the Clinton Gun Ban.

I can’t post what I advocate for former Presidents who sold MIRV and ICBM guidance technology to China for a couple hundred thousand in campaign contributions. How many million Americans may yet disappear in the blink of an eye for that?

Just purchased an original 1942 Thompson 45 cal. sub-machine gun, and boy, is it fun. It took some time to learn to shoot it but after the training period I love it. It's heavy, but that helps on the recoil, and it'll shake your teeth loose, but once you get used to it it's a beaut.

My Dad carried one in WW2. I carried an M14 in Viet Nam. That's my next acquisition, if I can find one.
