I take a stab at it...

"Piyush" is, of course, Bobby's given name and "smh" means "shaking my head".

I wonder if Michael Phelps will be a guest at Obama’s first joint session of Congress?

I agree to some extent, however Bobby Jindal is the anti-Obama and he’s young, articulate and uber-conservative. And, he’s not on the MSM radar.

One of the major complaints about the GOP is that it’s run by the same old people who give us the same old song and dance. And while I hate bringing race into this because it makes me feel grimy, he’s not white. For too long, we have been labeled as racists and enemies of the lower classes. He will conteract that perception. While we shouldn’t worry about such things and focus on issues and policies, the election of Obama solidified that it IS an issue.

I think Jindal will do well as a representative of our party.

This would be Obama's Not Really A State Of The Union Address to Congress? You know, the one with all the trappings of a SOTU, but it won't be considered as one?

Most excellent! We need to cultivate all those younger Republican leaders so that more folks in America can see the GOP is more than just John McCain.

Shouldn’t it be someone with some knowledge, credentials, and qualifications - other than being governor of a small poorly-managed Southern state?

Do a little research on Bobby Jindal, and you'll understand.
