I think they are discovering that they are now no longer middle class. At 75K a year they are now the filthy rich.
Funny how the numbers keep changing on who is rich.
to read...
Exactly. From an economic standpoint the bill is retarded, something even liberals would have a hard time disputing.
JOBBED! JOBBED! JOBBED!
Are you by any chance a wrestling fan?
I checked Thomas.gov and found the link here:
http://www.thomas.gov/home/approp/app09.html
If you click on the link under Conf. Report, Div. A and Div B it will download. Then if you use your search binoculars, you can search whatever words you wish. At least I think that’s how I managed to search.
For damn sake, what in the hell will this amount of money do. Where in the hell is Obama and his corrupt nitwits living. Mars? Damn where have these dumb dirt-bags been living?
Wrestling? Just curious, what’s the connection? — other than getting Pelosi in a headlock and making her eat the 1000 ‘stimulus’ bill page by page? ;-)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Recall em all.”
I was wondering about that myself.
Couldn’t a petition drive be started in EVERY State, to remove the Congress members (House and Senate), who voted FOR the handouts, thus ignoring the people they were elected to represent? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Yes, that can be done.
Each Rep and Sen falls under the rules of their own state.
We don’t need to get them all, just 40 of them or so !!!
In Louisiana, there is one easy (but still very hard) target (Melancon) and one more very difficult target (Landrieu)
We need to get only 1/3 of all registered voters in Melancon’s district to sign a recall petition!
WHO ARE THE TARGETS IN YOUR STATE?
WHAT ARE THE RECALL RULES FOR YOUR STATE?
In professional wrestling slang, the term job describes a losing performance in a wrestling match.[1] It is derived from the euphemism "doing one's job", which was employed to protect kayfabe. As professional wrestling is scripted, inevitably a wrestler will be required to lose to an opponent.[2]
The term can be used a number of ways. When a wrestler is booked, or scripted, to lose a match it is described as "a job." The act itself is described with the verb jobbing. To lose a match fairly is to job cleanly.[2] A loss through outside interference, cheating, or a reversed decision is called a screwjob. Wrestlers who routinely lose matches are known as jobbers.
America loses. Hope we're not lost.
The lefties get the goldmine the rest of us get the shaft.
WHAT ARE THE RECALL RULES FOR YOUR STATE?"
First, ANY and ALL who voted FOR the Porkulus suppository that was just rammed up the taxpayers' rear-ends SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE FOR MALFEASANCE, IMHO. This should be done in all "57 States".
As far as the "official rules" for Recall/Removal from Office; I'm in Ohio, and I cannot find the exact Constitutional requirements for conducting/accomplishing such removal.
As far as U.S. Senators, of course, we have sleazy Sherrod Brown, and RINO Voinovich right now (he's already announced retirement, so we'll be getting another Democrat Senator in this Blue State).
Ohio is infested with blue collar Union boneheads, who vote (D) no matter what (they do as their Union Bosses tell them), even though the bulk of them were out of work for being overpaid and pricing themselves out of the market. In addition, we have the inner-city "don't have to worry 'bout no mo'gage, don't have to worry 'bout no gas..." crowd (aka, fourth generation welfare/entitlements' crowd) and ACORN makes sure every tree stump, dead body, and cartoon character votes in Ohio.
It's a sickening situation, and with the added burden of taxes coming down on those who work for a living or run a business, this new load will drive the economy to ruins for sure (which is what the goal of the Socialists is).
Interestingly, before the Senate vote, there were ads EVERY HOUR on radio, urging people to call Voinovich to change his vote, and the ads were sponsored by AFSCME and People for Change......the entitilements and government-dependent crowd!
How poor do you have to be to get this credit?
Wait just a darn minute.....where is my free house and the free gas for my car?
Someone else posted it here -it’s at thomas.gov. When I called my Senator yesterday to urge a no vote, they told me you can search by topic with ctrlF. Haven’t tried it myself yet.
Where is my free ammo-? If we’re going to get free stuff, we might as well get something we can use to improve things...
Ohio hey?
Perhaps these good folks know. They are trying to recall City Council members.
We need to get them looking over their shoulders.

ASHTABULA The campaign to unseat four City Council members kicked off its petition-signing drive Tuesday with a steady line of people streaming into a downtown building.
For more than three hours, Concerned Citizens for Progress (CCP) guided registered voters as they signed recall petitions in an effort to remove council vice president Betty Kist, Ward 1 Councilman Joseph Rose, Ward 2 Councilman Bernie Roskovics and Ward 3 Councilwoman Ericka Severino.
People were here before we opened the
door, said Alice Cook, a CCP volunteer. It looks like we need more volunteers.
David Bucci, president of 25-member citizens group, smiled when he walked up to the front door and saw that the line extended out the door.
Im very pleased with the turnout, he said.
Ashtabula resident Carilee McCue said, Its something that needs to be done.
Diane Higley of Ashtabula had another motive in mind.
Im here to get rid of Tom Simon and his girlfriend, she said.
Ashtabula resident Liz Lago said council needs to do something, such as bring jobs to the area.
They havent done a thing for the city, she said.
Judy Brown of Ashtabula said she is tired of councils kindergarten ways and constant fighting.
Council members Rodger Altier, Julie Lattimer and James Trisket are not named in the recall movement.
We feel (Trisket and Lattimer) have some good ideas, but they are not being heard, Bucci said.
As for Altier, state law mandates council members must serve one year before they can be recalled, giving them a fair chance to serve the public. Altier was appointed in August following former council president Robert Beacoms resignation.
