He has debated both Bush and Obama. Apparently his debating skills were not sufficient for him to win the elections against these candidates.

Keyes' debating skills are fine, his ideology is purely conservative and lacks the "moderate" slant that appeals to a majority of voters. Reagan was unsuccessful in early attempts until 4 years of Carter made him acceptable to anyone with a brain.

Look for a repeat of history in 2012 after 4 years of Obamanomics returns us to gas lines, stagflation, 18% interest rates and malaise

I refused to have dinner with a distant cousin who admitted he voted for zero, and I told a friend “I may not be able to avoid Obamaniacs at work, but I don’t have to be friends or kin with them.”

Nice to know it's not just me. I'm always polite to neighbors that I used to be quite friendly with, but now I avoid them whenever possible.

Many years ago I saw on TV a debate between Keyes and Alan Derschowitz (one of Orenthal Simpson's lawyers). Keyes was so articulate in his arguments - and unfortunately I forget what the topics were. Derschowitz had beads of sweat on his brow and came across as whiny.

Keyes gets the same treatment Palin got by the MSM and RINO Repub party. Both of them are real conservatives and pro-Constitution.

I am a white male but I would vote for either Keyes or Palin because they head and heart are in the right place - they are both American patriots. I would take both of them over spineless RINOs like Juan McCain, Crist. Graham, Martinez and other RINO scum.

Keyes, Palin or maybe even Fred Thompson are among the best the GOP has. Fred’s negative is he is an attorney.
