"A few posts from me objecting to the posting style of your band doesn't constitute a creepy Romney obsession."
A few ?
"If you are looking for a creepy Romney obsession, look for those with thousands of repetitive spam posts about Romney, largely unhinged from the thread topic."
Tell me about it. All these nutters (mostly women and metrosexuals) with sex fantasies that he's gonna come and sweep them away to Never-Neverland to participate in a reenactment of some bodice-ripping romance novel. You'd think two years worth of umpteen daily worship threads would be enough, but yet they just keep on a-comin'...

“Can a Republican win in a state which is so third-world?”
We don’t know, we think we have everything figured out and in it’s place and then someone comes along and wins an election that they can’t have won, and then we have to rebuild our wisdom library.

“Not only opposed Reaganism, he opposed Reagan the man. And proudly so.”

SEE! SEE! won't you people ever recognize how perfectly consistent Mitt Romney is? Here he is mentioning his personal relationship with the military.
You sick bastards only keep posting this stuff because it is his own words.

No telling what is prompting the anti-Romney obsession, but conservatism it isn't. Clearly, it depends on how you define "conservatism." In my book, it is limited government principle BECAUSE it is solely the path to social and fiscal conservatism. Expanded government decays social and fiscal morality. Expanded government perverts morality when it forces taxpayers to fund abortions and prohibits them from rejecting open homosexuality in their daily lives, whether it's their workplace or their kids' schools or an online dating service ala eharmony.
Expanded government exploits taxpayers, squanders their labor, frustrates prosperity, shackles innovation, and raises real costs of everything.
Inconsistency results from lack of the grasp of the principle of self-dependence and self-government, the goal of limited government. "Social conservative" versus "fiscal conservative" is futility itself. I once had a successful East Coast businessman tell me with a straight face that he was a social liberal but a fiscal conservative.

Arnold, Mayor Bloomberg, Senator Specter may be Conservative to you but that’s not what I’m talking about. Arnold ran like one but it was all talk. The legislature and gubmint unions are a bear for sure but Arnold caved when we needed him to fight. This is why he is now the girly man of CA.

More a Libertarian. Focus on the economy first and let the people decide social issues. Each state can be different.

Dang Keynians!
