Much as I hate to say it, there is no way a Republican, even if Dennis Kucinich joined the GOP, has a chance in my state when it comes to the Presidential election. I’m not saying don’t try, but it’s a pipe dream to think otherwise. It’s like thinking a Dem has a chance in Utah.

A victory by Meg Whitman in the race for California governor could deliver Mitt Romney a foothold in a Democratic state What does that mean?

Hmmm, will it be
Romney bad, therefore Whitman bad, or
Whitman bad shows that Romney bad? More likely, the story heading the thread will be ignored per usual, and we will get the same rehashed and copy/paste Romney bad.

Go home Mitt. You aren’t destined to be president.

When I got a mailer from Meg and read where Pete Wilson is heading up her campaign, I immediately threw it in the trash can! Not the recycle bin, but the worthless trash can!!!
A day or so later, here comes a form letter from Mitt also endorsing her, who I felt forced to vote for as the last, most conservative remaining candidate in last year's Republican Primary, and I threw it in the same trash can!!!
My, my, my... The CA Republicans MUST put forth someone who has some genuine conservatism in their blood or it's going to get worse and worse in the Golden State!!!
I don't like her, Poisoner, Campbell, or the other guy!!! Somebody simply has to step forward with some righteous conservative pizzazz and sweep this state off it's rotting liberal feet!!!

Huckleberry and the Huckster wannabees type politics won’t win in CA...that’s just a reality.
Business Conservatives can win but the 3rd chromosomers split the vote.

Romney is a dud. I cannot put my finger on it, but he seems like a Johnny-come-lately as far as his conservative credentials. His chorus of disingenuous “me too” during the primary really torqued me, as he wanted to paint himself as a conservative stalwart. Plus, it was sad to see McCain pick up Romney campaign rejects, only to have them subvert McCain and turn sour grapes on Palin. Despicable and unforgivable.

Whitman and Romney can both go straight to hell!
Take Pete Wilson with them.
Wilson is how we got Arnie the commie!

Maybe Romney should run for governor of California under the “Who am I Today” Party!
