Geraldo Rivera was issued a trespass warning on Saturday

Fox News anchor Geraldo Rivera was issued a trespass warning after a contentious interview with the father of a missing Putnam County girl.

As the search for 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings entered its 13th day, the county was abuzz about the contentious interview with her father Saturday night with Rivera.

Cummings got upset when Rivera said he'd been told by members of Haleigh's mother's family that Cummings hit the child and has said he is 75 percent sure he knows who has her.

I suspect a lot of things will come to light that the family doesn’t want out in the open.

Let this be a lesson to people who live chaotic lives.

FOX — are you listening?

Geraldo may have asked the right question or made the right comment, but that was not the right delivery or time to do so...

Regardless of the situation or story, he is not something I watch, or intend to watch anymore on FauxNews...

I am in agreement that there is a whole lot more going on with the family of that little girl than has been reported...

All I know is that it is not the little girls fault...And those that are responsible for what has happened will pay for it in the long run...

He’s listed in his garaduating class roster at the University of Arizona as Jerry Rivers.

Nancy Grace and Geraldo are what's left after a monkey rubs it's butt on tree bark.

I haven’t followed this story very closely. Why are the kids not with their mother?

Military kicks Geraldo out of Iraq
‘He gave away the big picture stuff’

From Chris Plante

WASHINGTON (CNN) —Fox News Channel correspondent Geraldo Rivera is being expelled from Iraq for broadcasting details about future U.S. troop movements in the country, according to the Pentagon.

A primary obligation of the hundreds of reporters traveling with coalition forces in Iraq is to refrain from disclosing sensitive information about military operations.

The veteran correspondent, who was temporarily accompanying the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, violated the rule during a live broadcast on Fox television.

“He was with a (U.S.) military unit in the field and the commander felt that he had compromised operational information by reporting the position and movements of troops,” Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman told Reuters.

After the disclosure, members of the 101st Airborne were in the process of escorting Rivera out of the combat zone, a Pentagon official told CNN.

“He will be dropped at the Kuwaiti border,” the official said.

Fox News in New York had no immediate comment, according to Reuters.

In the broadcast, Rivera instructed his photographer to tilt the camera down to the sand in front of his feet so that he could draw a map.

The Fox correspondent then outlined a map of Iraq, and showed the relative location of Baghdad and his location with the 101st Airborne unit.

Rivera then continued with his sandy diagram to illustrate where the 101st would be going next.

“He went down in the sand and drew where the forces are going,” said a stunned senior military official. “He gave away the big picture stuff.”

Apparently the child’s mother has a drug problem.

Personally I think the kids were left alone that night or they were left with the child molesting uncle.

"Is this the same Geraldo who goes on Fox and trashes Glenn Beck? "

I'm glad I read on and found your comment. I was just about to write the same thing. Geraldo is a doofus.

His (and your) idea of how important he is are highly inflated.

I think I remember when Bush was still Gov. of Texas, Whorealdo either instigated a rally or attended a rally outside of Texas state prision protesting the soon to be execution of some guy. He was berating Bush for not granting a "stay of execution"

What he failed to mention was that the soon to be fried guy had already been granted the maximum "stays of execution" granted under the law and there was nothing then Gov. Bush could do about it.........but yet it was Bush's fault

I could never understand why Fox hired this prick.......

I saw the interview. Geraldo’s lucky he didn’t get punched out.
We have a similar reporter in this area on a local station. When a nude woman’s body was found in a field near my favorite watering hole he came in all puffed up, asking us if she was a hooker and did any of us know her. He was told to go play in the traffic. He quickly left, not understanding why we weren’t impressed by his celebrity status.
As a follow up - she wasn’t a hooker. Her boyfriend had killed her and dumped her body in the field.

Why the girl isn’t living with her mother?

According to an interview with the mother, they had joint custody; one day he picked up his daughter and didn’t bring her back; and he immediately filed for sole custody and the papers to the mother setting the court date were mailed to a fictious address, so the mother missed the hearing; where the judge awarded sole custody to the father. Mother didn’t say on what grounds the judge thought the father would make the better custodian.
