National Divorce

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N.. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you ANWAR which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

We cannot take back the media. We need to provide more alternatives to the MSM. FNC was a good start but it's only a news channel. We need alternatives to CBS,NBC, ABC ..etc

We also need candidates who are able to withstand the assaults from the Big Three and the Slimes, a la Ronald Reagan, who did just fine without their support.

You know, I agree.

My oldest daughter’s second grade teacher had a communal pencil cup at each table with four or five kids sitting there. My daughter had a pencil from my mother who had recently passed away and was using it in school. Another boy wanted to use her “cool” pencil and demanded and tattled that she did not put the pencil in the pencil cup at their table so he could grab it next time. She was forced to put it in the cup (which I raised holy hell about because my daughter came home in hysterics and I showed up at the school to retrieve the damn thing to bring it home the next morning before said boy could grab it) and asked her what kind of car she drove. I was really unhappy with mine and might like to drive hers for a while. The lesson was lost on her.

So now she is no longer teaching and owns a septic tank business with her husband (was doing well enough to quit teaching I guess, she works there and I ended up talking to her on the phone one day)

It was all I could do since she was now running a business and not a young girl out of college to ask how she felt about communal pencil cups.

That is becoming a common theme with people I know who voted for Obama. Even the ones who marginally pay attention.

I find his poll numbers crap because I know how much everyone holds the water for him.

This is the essence of ISlam: the divorce, the domination, civil war... worse, islam and socialism viciously strike chords of dissent into our own minds and bodies by advancing sexual perversion and exloitation, as well as materialist thinking, an oxymoron since thinking can be infinite but materials finite.

The result of this incongruency is a “short brutish life”. This is the system of the throne making and communication, making issues of everything. Homosexuality makes relations an issue between men, thus islam is founded on such, sharia is just veneer.

Would you care to add up the GDP of the red states and that of the blue states? You won't be so optimistic if you saw the results. Assuming Texas would form its own country, the rest would pretty much be like a Third World country with a few rich cities.

I don't think so. In the first place, I think Texas would not be its own country; its natural social and cultural tastes would make it join the rest of the Southern states, and in any case it would not want to fight the hordes of illegals flooding across its border without the help of the rest of the CSA behind it.

In the second place, when freed of federal restrictions and taxes, I believe the South would flower economically. You would soon have the South surpassing the North, if only because the majority of honest taxpayers are currently supporting the masses in large cities in the North and far west.

Too bad we can't really do this. But it was tried before, and we found out they have most of the big guns.

We could create a Peoples Republic of America out of all the states north of the Mason-Dixon line and east of the Mississippi. Build a fence of concertina and anti-personnel mines around it and let them stew in their own juices.

I am also finding a lot of negative response to 0bama’s agendas, from 0bamabots. It is like they are watching it happen and realizing that way down deep inside...it is all wrong. Their gut is doing that, ‘gut check thing,’ and their core is telling them...big mistake made.

In some ways I feel sorry for these folks having fallen for the kool-aid the snake oil salesman was peddling. These are the folks that we now have an opportunity to literally help. Yes, I said help.

Not in providing handouts or bailouts, but in assuring them that their ‘gut’ is correct, their true values are stable, that it is OK to have principals, and that real principals stand the test of time. They know what they don't want to lose for themselves or their children.
