(02-26) 20:00 PST San Francisco -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is sending strong signals that President Obama - who as a candidate said states should be allowed to make their own rules on medical marijuana - will end raids on pot dispensaries in California.

Asked at a Washington news conference Wednesday about Drug Enforcement Administration raids in California since Obama took office last month, Holder said the administration has changed its policy.

As much as I applaud this, I find it funny that the band of socialist bastards in DC will embrace states rights for this but for not much else.

Break out those tea bags. I smell a revolution coming if Obama continues to inject his socialist ways into America.

Perhaps the states can allow farmers to raise industrial hemp, too.

The blue states will probably legalize shortly. Easier to control stoned people than rational people.

I liked the stopped clock analogy!

Even a broken clock is correct twice a day!

And our government sure is broken these days.

Liberals use the states right argument when it suits their philosophical inclinations. Conservatives do likewise. Nothing new here.

I don’t care as long as I don’t pay for it.

Let the Obama supporters smoke. Tax the hell out of them; it’s the only way we’ll get any money out of them.

as I stated before, I don’t use drugs and can’t stand the smell of pot but I saw tax the stuff. The war on drugs has been a failure and we waste billions of dollars on it when it can be used on more important things. And just think of all the revenue that would come from selling it just from NBA players alone!

Some. I am about as conservative as it comes. And I favor this move.

Now tax the pot-smoking Obama voters.

The tough part will be for the DEA and the forest service that have to go clean up Mexican run grows in the national forests in states that legalize pot.

Sure, we all recall how easy the hippies and the anti government radicals were to control in the 60s...It's not like they, for good or bad, questioned authority and government at every turn.

Right...
